I was listening to this at work, my boss comes in and he's like "What the !#@$" And i thought he would punish me but instead he walked out, speechless. Next day, i walk into work and he's sitting at his desk, listening to RWBY music. :)

All of the other 4-man teams were set up the same way. Its just the thing for the series, not really something to be really excited about. Its not even particularly clever, I was more impressed with the combat choreography and the intense weaponry design.

I'd agree, but I don't think the song is intended to fit "you". I think it's meant as a criticism of militarism in general. It takes away the gloss of "military" service... you see, you can just as well read Bush's rhetoric in this song, as you can see the philosophy of the African Masai warriors of yore. It's a very primitive feeling... these would be "heroes" are mere slaves to the impetus to "bloody evolution". "Got no time to hear your absolution" -- you bought into it, now deal with it.
Stop and think about it a moment: historically, evolution has been an effect of massive mal-adaptation to changes in the environment. But with its war-like judgmentalism, man becomes a force for its own evolution, striking down its own kind to "open up the door". But it goes both ways: if you create conditions for evolution, you must share those conditions with the people you would destroy.... ("Got no time to hear your absolution"). Severe emotions are just as dangerous as severe winds....
But just ask the Muslims, for whom this song is a way of life: hearts WILL NOT open; the story will NOT be told; and true victory is most definitely NOT in a "simple" soul.

What is grimm? What is Dust really? Why does it all exist? Who's really the bad guy? I dunno...Those seem like pretty hidden answers. And Harry Potter is a coming of age story, very much like RWBY, which would be about Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang growing into their roles as huntresses, very much like Harry grew into his role as "The boy who lived"

Why do I get the feeling this show is also going to end in tears? Since the fifth season of RvB, Rooster Teeth has successfully demonstrated the capacity to tear my guts out, and the soundtrack for RWBY thus far have some very ominous lyrics.

From what I have seen she is able to change her ammo out for different kinds. In her trailer she started off with explosive rounds with no projectile in them, which I am assuming are basically blanks . She then switched over to the red ones that had a long shot in them, which is some kind of high velocity round. So I am hoping she gets some different kinds of ammo later in the series.

I think it was the Red, White, Black and Yellow Trailers that made it more famous before it even came out. You should go watch them if you haven't, they're pretty damn awesome.

If you're using Firefox & want to be able to have a video auto-repeat, there's an awesome extension called "UA-cam Auto Replay 2.84" - adds a little tab between "About" & "Share" that lets you either repeat the entire video or just a portion (perfect for those videos where the uploader/creator adds a lot of fluff to the intro/endings of their videos).

Did you see the credits? There's over 50 people working on Rwby! And one of the cosplayers at RTX helped design and create the school they're going to.
For everyone who is talking about the show needing more action Monty said it wasn't really ment to be an action show. The RT Podcast I believe was four months ago when he talked about it. I could be wrong but I know it was on the podcast.

The episode comes out for Sponsors 1 Hour before registered members, and Registered members get it 1 Hour before everyone gets it. This is for the website, as for youtube, it seems to be a week after its release it is uploaded onto youtube. Basically when everyone was watching episode 1 on youtube everyone else was watching episode 2 on roosterteeth.

IF only they were at least 10 minutes long, but I can understand how hard it is to animated and record... but I think it will be like RvB in the sense that it will get longer as the story builds up
i agree season 1 is most likely already done and they are working on season two since the first episode was released :D
It will get longer when/if they get more animators. As long as Monty Oum is animating it by himself, and only gets help in the voicing part, it will be short...unless we want them to be spaced more. like one 15min episode every 2 weeks...personally, I prefer how it is now to that. What I think is, judging by the impact of the series to the audience, that will happen pretty soon...many people seem to like the series, and that's everyone's only complaint.
