But to the video, "watches being an investment" always tripped me up for the longest time as more a "superficial flex" thing - like you said in the video. But when you're making a ton of money, "parking" it in potentially appreciating assets - like a watch - IS the play. Gives you some spice and flare in life and that status, too!

The idea of getting a coach for hobbies really is a good idea. Growing up, I had to sacrifice a lot of recreational activities I was interested in to study Medicine. I actually want to learn swimming, piano, and martial arts. Hopefully I will get to them soon. ❤

In your 20s you have to do the bucket list items that you might not be able to do if you injured yourself. People get injured/ old all the time, then they realise they can not do the things they dreamed of when they were younger despite having the money to do so.

I'm in real estate, I can't even begin to tell you the difference from when I used to show up in a beat up Vauxhall Corsa compared to a clean, well kept mx5.
It doesn't have to be an r8, but spend on a car that looks the part if you're into that kind of business.
