My favorite yeast bread recipe...
(shared with permission from Bread Beckers)
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 tsp salt
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp gluten
2 Tbsp lecethin
4 - 4 1/2 cups flour
1 Tbsp yeast
I used the bread machine on dough setting. Rise for 25 minutes in two bread pans. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. For buns, I cook about 15-18 minutes instead.

I see a couple of other people have commented about the lump on your cow. It’s on the jaw area. It’s an abscess that the vet will have to open and treat with antibiotic into the abscess or as an injection. It’s been awhile for me but don’t worry about pills. I am a former Vet Tech from Nebraska and they’re quite common. I was trying to look up what we called it. I thought it was lump jaw but in my research, I found out it’s actually called lumpy jaw. 🤷🏼♀️. Thank you so much for the breath of fresh air your videos are to me. I can be down about something but I watch one of your vlogs and that frown is turned upside down. Bless you and your’s!

can clearly say the standmixer is a good investment, my mom had one that had been passed down from my grandma, who even got it from somewhere, if i remember correctly. she had it all through my childhood and it got used pretty much every day! it was a very sad day when it suddently stopped working, but my mom invested in a new one right away, knowing how good it was!

I think Sarah misspoke (or I heard her wrong) on the meatballs, but want to make sure cooking newbs understand: ground beef should be cooked to 165 internal temperature. Beef steaks are different bc they aren't ground and can be cooked to a lower internal temp bc bacteria, if present, would only be on the outside of the meat, not mixed throughout. 👍

Thanks for taking us along for his Senior night! We home school and my boys play sports, go to all the dances at the local HS. I forget that some schools don’t allow home school kids to join in. Last year my 16yr old signed up to be the mascot for basketball season. He had a blast and everyone loved his energy! The principal came over and told us how happy he was to have an enthusiastic mascot that got the crowd going. He said “it’s pretty funny that the one with the most school spirit doesn’t go to school here!” 😂

I love my Ankarsrum mixer! I kept looking at it for at least a year, before deciding to buy it. So nice for those large recipes of bread- which I used to knead by hand. I've never wanted a bread machine, but as I've needed help with the kneading, this machine is perfect. I'm sure it's perfect for your family Sarah.

Love the slide! Nice making use of the deck and not even having to make a whole stand alone for it. Plus....more fun this way. I totally thought about just adding a deck off of our barn just to put in a slide lol. And we don't even have any kids.
If you are ever trying to think of a video to make, may I suggest doing one using your grinder and mixer. Show us from beginning to end how you make your bread. I think that would be very interesting. I am a sour dough girl by all means, but there are times when we are having large family gatherings that I would LOVE to pull off several loaves of yeast bread
Would also LOVE to see what you eat in a day carnivore. I have been low carb for a while and am leaning toward carnivore to heal some health issues. Ideas are always welcome
