Thank you for the video, I agree with basically everything you mentioned. My water storage is a mixed bag. I have two wells for normal daily supply. This water is generally only stored for short term use through a product known as a WaterBOB. This is basically just a very large plastic water bladder that goes in a bath tub and has an input connection for the normal faucet as well as an output connection which is larger/easier to use with something like a siphon hose. We only use this when we have enough time in advance to prepare by putting it in place and filling it up, we don't leave that filled all of the time in a tub. My next up storage would have to be the commodity level 5 gallon water jugs which we keep 12+1 of in rotation. I do also keep bottled water in a variety of sizes in a slower rotation. If the wells and the other sources normally used fail then I give thanks for being only a few hundred feet from a more than clean enough river and under a half mile from a spring fed lake. We do have water softening equipment as well as optional reverse osmosis for the well water. I still keep sodium hypochlorite around and several other filtering methods like zerowater and distillation. Good clean water can make the difference in some activities and other times you can benefit from the additional minerals and trace elements.
A friend of mine has a stream near his house, whenever he needs to store water, he goes out there with his ar15 and tells the stream to freeze.
🤣

Definitely familiar with the water bob, I fill one up every time a hurricane is headed our way. Sounds like you have a nice setup going, well done!
