What size mattress is approximately appropriate?
The mattress size depends on the size of the bed you go with. The height of the mattress however should stay under 12". Any innerspring or foam mattress for queen, double or twin sizes is good. Queen is 80" L x 60" W, Double is 75" L x 54" W, and Twin is 75" L x 39" W. Some minor size variances may exist in other countries.
