- Note: I was the only performer on stage Michael ever gave permission to film using an “iso camera” - which allowed me to capture my drumming during the HIStory Tour. I was blessed he allowed me to do this!!…Some parts came out a bit out of focus due to the smoke from the stage and vibrations....I apologize for this!!…I will continuously post more footage. #HistoryTourDrumSeries
Also, due to the age of the tape and it being in my storages for 21 years, the tape has minor inconsistencies with the timing of the visuals and audio at times.

Michael’s Subtle communication with the band shows the attention to detail he required, just something simple as the raise of his hand at 0:35 to let “Foot” know that he’s ready to count it in. Also the drop and slam of his hand on the thigh to mark the hit on the 4 count, It all blends together which appears to the crowd as part of his choreography... His passion for music and dance is unmatched, and I truly thank you Mr Moffett for sharing this footage with us! Blessings Great Sir!!! 💯🙏🏾
Well, for this video, they ARE part of the choreography. For example, MJ didn't need to signal anything to the band at 0:35, because his vocal playback has already started, and the rest of the band had to synch with it. So no matter if he raised his hand or not, sugarfoot always had to start the drums right there.
But you're correct about him cueing the band. In many performances you can see him raising his index finger telling the band to stop the playback and turn up his mic so he can sing live for the rest of the song. He also used hand gestures to signal the sound mixing engineering to turn up his mic volume and stuff.

Very nice not only do I love watching your timing and Michael at the same time. I love the sound of the reverb in the stadium. Working for one for a number of years, to hear the sound bounce off the walls just brought back a lot of feel-good memories that only that sound and music can do. Thanks! Your timing was perfect. Love this. I can see MJ and his dancers as Jonathan plays drums.... definitely a repeat / replay. I love MJ and his dancers also Jonathan. Cris ,Judd,Levelle,Travis and not sure if my "1992 old" crush Jamie is in this 1 - he is one of them.Also my other " old" crush Eddie is not in this one. Mj is the best dancer. Go Cris,Levelle,Travis so perfectly amazing. Not sure if Jason in here - love him too. Not sure if Michelle and Yuko is in this 1-all amazing dancers. RIP Micheal Jackson & Dominic Lucero
