Sampras réussissait très bien ''Toss ball'' c'est l'exemple parfait que j'admire lancer la balle avec tout le corps Exact. Thanks coach Have a nice day
Thank you for the video. You explained how to get rid of spin, but you didn't explain why you want to get rid of spin. I doubt a slightly spinning ball would change the impact point (unlike a heavy topspin shot or a shot hit with sidespin) so why do you want to get rid of spin? My problem tossing the ball to the same spot and I don't even notice if it's spinning or not. Are you saying that if the toss has spin you can't toss it to the same spot consistently? thanks again
Hi Your right I didn't explain this But it has zero to do with hitting the ball. It's important not to spin the ball, because it is much, much more difficult to place a spinning ball in the correct place. When you spin the ball, it goes out of control. That's why none of the pros spin the ball in the ball toss. Does that make sense? Glad your enjoying the channel. Do you have any other tennis issues that I could help with? If so let me know www.oneminutetennis.com
That’s excellent tip! Never heard any other explanation like it on the toss, but it’s spot on! Already helping my toss with only a few minutes of practice. I was having trouble with the timing of my knee bend and body swivel back. I was tossing then getting on with the rest of my serve motion. This gets a fluid motion started right from the jump. Thanks
This was great, thanks! The other thing that really works for me is making sure that my tossing arm is totally locked out - helps ensure that all of the motion comes from the shoulder.
Great analysis. I did this naturally without knowing about it to get a good rhythm and toss, and almost every time I hit a good serve when I did it right. The problem is I can't get the rhythm smooth every time, but my main problem is I didn't get the height of the toss consistently. If too low then I lose power. If too high then I lose rhythm and therefore power and also accuracy. I guess practicing every day, or at least the day before the match, is the only way. That's why the pros always practice on the off day, or even same day before the match.
Glad your enjoying the channel. When you make the ball toss, imagine your placing the ball onto a shelf. If you picture the shelf at the correct height and place the ball onto it, then it should help your problem. Thanks for supporting the channel and let me know if this helps please
Could you put the ball under the fingertips of the spinning fingers ? This way it’s controlled by the tips of the other non spinning fingers ? I’ve heard others compare the hand to a flower opening on the toss

Tennis Serve is the most complicated move in any sport. 2 things really helped. One was start your lift from fullest extension down. The groin or lower if possible this involved the body more and the ball I could PREDICTABLY place right in my sweetspot with little effort. HUUUGE. Consistency much easier to achieve. Now about the bandaids. I incorporated another tip into fully extended arm strategy. Sounds really counter intuitive but try this. Hold your hand so ball is underneath* your palm. This negates your ball spin again with predictable consistency so necessary for a reliable serve. Put these two tips together and experience the ahah moment I had. You might feel clumsy at first but focus did that no spin ball go where you wanted it too way more often? BINGO

( for myself I will keep trying both ways till one becomes the go to one ) I’m very away of not spinning the ball …..
Yes. It's longer than my normal videos. But I cover two totally different points. I made it because so many people struggle with these problems. They are different, but interrelated. I hope I didn't bore anyone too much.
Interesting video. I've had terrible problems with my ball toss but I have cured a lot of them by tossing parallel to the baseline. I figured out that when I see the path the ball, my toss is a lot more consistent. If I toss at 45 or 90 degrees, I don't see the ball coming back to me and it gets inconsistent. About your point two, if you have to focus your mind to imagine a line from your foot, hand and ball, you will not have a good service motion. Your mind is too preoccupied with the toss. For me, I don't want to think about the toss at all. I want it to be second nature. I want to concentrate on my serve motion and crushing that ball. So I basically will relax my tossing arm and lift with my shoulder. This usually produces a good toss. Thanks.
Interesting message. I think of you learn the toss correctly at the beginning. Your 100% right. This lesson really does help people for whom the motion becomes jerky and inconsistent. www.oneminutetennis.com
