The 78 bus route still runs at the moment, but has been diverted to a different destination at its Southern end some years ago. However, the route is one of the ones which TfL have proposed to withdraw, so it probably won’t be running for much longer.
I went to a Halloween party in the bridge many moons ago. One side of the walkway was themed as heaven with the other themed as hell. Great night in a specular location.
Amazing tour Sinead!!! So .much details on construction of London tower that fascinated me. You are brave, I stayed terrified watching the effort you made to show us the glass floorway😱. Thanks you so much for the video 😃

Sinead, I laughed too about that banana freighter hitting the bridge for the third time in 10 years. The various captains of that banana freighter must have been so impressed with the Tower Bridge that they wanted to leave their marks on it! hahaha The Harbour Master probably started calling on a Maritime pilot to take over captaining any banana ships coming or leaving London. Thanks for this fantastic tour and for walking across that scary glass floor of the Tower Bridge.

Many of my Baker ancestors lived in Horsleydown in the late 18th and up to the mid 19th century. Bridges were the death of their trade as Watermen. The sign of Horsleydown Lane in the entryhall, was presumably from one of the roads that had its demise as part of the demolition required for Tower Bridge.

I would love a Melbourne trip
I may avoid the attractions involving heights though 😂

Congratulations!!! You faced your fear. 👏👏 You walked across that glass walk-way. 😊😊 Excellent tour, as always.👍👌

Aww feel for you, iam the same. Went up the cheese grater and lifts are on the outside 28 floors up and left me shaken.. but couldn’t go back down lol x
Glad you eventually made it back, Nigel - haha!
@@ToursbyFootLondon luckily they have a fireman’s lift in centre of building. Had to wait for a key holder to get access. But think this is a age related problem, as worked on building sites with no problems when younger.
Just got bad last few years really
Brilliant tour Sinead you was so brave walking over that glass floor I couldn’t have done it really enjoyed this one thank you once again You filmed it great love well done
Glad you liked this one, Rita :)
I too will be terrified when I walk over the glass floor! I experienced this in Paris a few years ago at Galleria Lafayette.
We hope to show you around London when you get here, Lynn! You can browse our tour selection here www.freetoursbyfoot.com/london-tours/. Bookmark us :)
I surprised my son with tickets for his 10th birthday! He is obsessed with Tower Bridge! I stomped and jumped all the way across the glass floor and gave this poor lady a heart attack! It was a great experience and it was so interesting! The engineering feat is incredible and so fascinating! Highly recommend!
Thanks again for watching, Namara! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.

I’d be slow to do it again but the museum side of the attraction was amazing

The 78 bus route still runs at the moment, but has been diverted to a different destination at its Southern end some years ago. However, the route is one of the ones which TfL have proposed to withdraw, so it probably won’t be running for much longer.
I went to a Halloween party in the bridge many moons ago. One side of the walkway was themed as heaven with the other themed as hell. Great night in a specular location.
That sounds absolutely epic
Beyond jealous xx
Amazing tour Sinead!!! So .much details on construction of London tower that fascinated me. You are brave, I stayed terrified watching the effort you made to show us the glass floorway😱. Thanks you so much for the video 😃
Thanks for the continued support, Benedito!
As always Benedito my absolute pleasure
Delighted you enjoyed it

Great tour.
I have always wanted to visit London and brittan but don't have the money. So thx u for ur videos. I can now visit London from my home in San Diego, California. So thx u for giving me the ability to see ur beautiful city 💛
We are so glad to share it all with you, Suzz!
Thanks for this fantastic tour and for walking across that scary glass floor of the Tower Bridge.
wow i never knew you could get up top there!! scary!!
This is a fantastic area of London, I would advise look at things on both sides of the river.

well done Sinead :)
Many of my Baker ancestors lived in Horsleydown in the late 18th and up to the mid 19th century. Bridges were the death of their trade as Watermen. The sign of Horsleydown Lane in the entryhall, was presumably from one of the roads that had its demise as part of the demolition required for Tower Bridge.
hi darl we were up there two months ago on the tower bridge experience, as an oap and an invalid it was cheaper ay only £7 for me and my carer went free of charge and there's a lift for people that can not manage the stairs just a bit of info for you viewers
Thanks for that was going to ask if it had wheelchair access, thanks for the info.
Thanks for sharing, David!
Well done giving us a great view through the glass, took some courage. Great vid as usual 😄👍🇬🇧

Glad you liked this one, Laurie!
Oh bless you Laurie
My fear of heights seems to be getting worse it’s bizarre

@@Sineadlondontourguide I know what you mean. With me it seems to be claustrophobia but at least I know why... years ago I worked at the Ryman Auditorium and was attacked by some idiotic girls trying to reach the stage for R. Kelly. I still have problems with my knee to this day. Terrified me and I can't stand to be in large crowds anymore cause it feels like they're closing in on me again.
@@lauriehays2876 Omg Laurie sounds awful
The crush and the idea of being in proximity to R Kelly lol
At least you didn’t have to listen to him x

Thank you so much for an amazing vid! Up close and personal with the workings of Tower bridge with plenty of history to boot. X Well done with the glass floors, looks quite scary! Very easy to watch from the comfort of an armchair though lol. God Bless you, Sinead. You're an amazing lady X
Glad you liked this one!
It’s an amazing attraction thoroughly enjoyed it
Sinead
These tours are great. I hope you will continue with these videos, when everything is back to normal.
I hate heights, but I would be alright with that walkway because I wouldn’t be able to jump. I hate anywhere where it is possible to jump off!!
Thanks for your continued support of the channel, John! We're not stopping any time soon :)
Thank you for the tour ! 🙏🏻❤️

Good going. It is always a bit scary walking over glass floorings in the air. Thank you Sinead for doing it. We noticed there looked like a mirror above walk. Next time u go u should take a mirror view above while walking
Glad that you enjoyed the video, Rob. I will pass on the suggestion to Sinead :). And thank you for subscribing.
