As far as i know the menagerie now consists of only ravens. They are not kept in cages though, but are being fed regularly. There is a legend even, which says that as long as ravens stay in the Tower of London it will be safe.

The lions thing was pretty prevalent in Europe, they were considered symbols of royalty and strength. I remember reading when Mary Queen of Scots moved into Holyrood Palace, there was an empty lion pen. She thought keeping them was cruel and costly and opted not to get one until her husband Lord Darnley insisted on it as a show of royal power over the Scottish people.

If I remember correctly, King Richard charged Prince John with causing a foul stench in the monarchy. For that reason, he decreed that all the toilets in the kingdom were to called johns. He then imprisoned Prince John in the Tower of London and made him part of the tour. Right after that he knighted Robin of Locksley and kissed Maid Marian before allowing them to get married. It’s good to be the king.

Lady Jane Grey is actually most famous for having the worst royal signature of any British monarch (other than Henry VII of course) you may also know her for having the shortest reign of any female British monarch lasting an astonishing nine days before falling victim to the ever pressing “involuntary neck removal surgery”.

If you want to fuel a car, you give the gas before the trip. Im not saying we are a car, but i am saying its a good analogy. Fuel your workout with protein BEFORE you workout. Wait a bit for your body to begin digesting and not get sick while working out. So eat like an hour before or 30 minutes. Love the content thoughty

The King was so lenient because he was in cahoots with Blood.....Royalty back then were always after more money (Crown Jewels are owned by the state). the pair of them would have shared the spoils......simple as that!

0:34 "There you'll be able to admire the King's ancient crown jewels". Unfortunately you won't, because the original crown jewels (which went back to the middle-ages) were destroyed by Oliver Cromwell.

Imagine being a Brittish citizen in that era, having no way to know these animals even exist, and then you walk in and see a kangaroo. Like wtf is this thing?!?

Technically as they are poissant they are leapords and not lions, the Scottish lion rampant is actually a lion. Lions in heraldry are raised not lying down. But hey, it's just heraldry and your videos are brilliant
