  • Alright, it’s time to tackle the sled push - the station that tends to catch people off guard. The secret? Technique and training heavier than race day. 💪
    First, form is key. Instead of pushing like you’re doing a shoulder press, get low, hands just above the sled base, arms tight, and let your forehead almost kiss the poles. This way, you maximize power by using your whole body to drive that sled forward. And yes, it might feel weird at first, but trust me, it’s a game changer.
    And here’s where it gets fun: Train heavier than the actual HYROX weight. At the gym, we push nearly twice the HYROX weight. That way, when race day comes, the 150kg sled feels like a walk in the park. Sure, the carpet might be sticky, but by training heavier, it’s going to feel light and fast come race day.
    Lastly, let’s not forget about footwear! Make sure your shoes give you the grip and stability needed. If your heels are popping out mid-push, you’ll be wasting energy. Lock in those laces and push with power!
