Itachi by far one of the most interesting and well developed character just the story behind him and why he did what he did it's like damm which to me he is my favorite character in Naruto
also like 2nd favs are Shisui and sasuke and nagato/pain and Shika
I think obito is the most interesting character in Naruto, he has a lot more influence in the story.
Personal favorite character in the series is Shisui. The main reasons for this are that he was feared on the battlefield during the 3rd Ninja War due to his speed and his unique Sharingan ability (which would have prevented the Uchiha massacre, If it were not for Danzo) and that he sacrificed himself in order to prevent Danzo from gaining his second eye, which gave Itatchi his Mangekyo. Also he was able to be a challenging rival for Itatchi, one of the strongest characters in the series.

I'm not saying that Shisui was the the most feared, but he was mentioned as a treat to the Hidden Mist forces; most notably Ao's (The guy who assisted the 5th Mizukage and had an implanted Byakugan)

Soo nobody else her likes pain/nagato one of the best characters in Naruto and who also had a badass arc. Also a lot of the things pain said were very realistic and made me think a lot about life. Oh and I never really considered pain as a villain just a man who was trying to save the world in his own way same as Madara

Gaara is my favorite character because he was unbeatable back in the day, total bad ass. He only ever lost to Kimimaro and Deidara. Deidara only one because he forced Gaara to waste all his chakra repelling the equivalent of a nuclear explosion, and Kimimaro only won because he was a hard counter (much like Toph was in death battle).
My theory is that the only reason Orochimaru was able to assassinate the fourth Kazekage is because he had Kimimaro, who is the hard counter to magnet release because his bone is the only thing that is harder than Gaara's sand, except for Shikaku Shield, which Rasa wouldn't have.

Mel Green Kimimaro would have killed Lee and Gaara but his heart stopped due to some disease (maybe from curse mark, I'm not sure) literally right when Kimimaro was about to kill him.

Killer bee and Guy are my favorites mainly because Bee's combos with the swords also cover his back side making the opponent kinda not able to attack you there cause I know there are probably ways to counter that attack and Guy cause he's a badass he basically risked his life to try to stop Madara using the Gate of Death with was probably one of my favorite fights in game and anime.
Neji is my favourite character. I liked his calm mentality and his animations when using trigrams and byakugan. Wish he didn't have to die :/
My favorite top 3 characters in this game to play are Mifune, Yugito (2-tails), and Itachi. All these characters have a lot going for them in this game, and I usually win most of my games when playing with Mifune or Yugito.

Shino because as a kid I loved insects and my knowledge of parasites made me wish for a lot of potential from Shino. I also liked his quiet nature and the Aburame respect of not toying with their opponents but facing them at full strength.

Post Timeskip Choji was able to unleash the butterfly wings during the war without the use of the Pills. That's why Older Choji uses it.
I'm a couple of months late, but I'd say that my favorite naruto character is Orochimaru. The guy is a complete monster and his psychopath side is awesomely entertaining. Afro my favorite naruto character would have to be kakashi hatake. I also like using the double sharingan variant w/ water style: water dragon jutsu and lightning blade: speed in storm four. the secret technique looks hella nice i think
GAARA. he had a past worst then Sasuke and Naruto in my opinion, and he actually turned good despite all that he's been through. Becoming a Kage at a young age and helping unite the nations for the war againts the Akatsuki with his speech. Out of all the characters in Naruto, Gaara, to me, had the best character development

Sasuke because first of all his badassery, second of all his Susano'o is my favorite color and third his relationship as a young kid with his brother was like mine (Not when he wanted to kill him when Itachi always said later Sasuke but they still had a strong bond).

there are three characters I love: Temari, Shikamaru and Tenten.
Temari is one of my favorites because I love the giant fan jutsu, and she never disappoints me when she makes an appearance.
Shikamaru is one of my favorites because of his ability to apply strategy, super lazy, and relatable for me.
Tenten is also one of my favorites, even though she's useless, is because after looking at what she can, seal hundreds of weapons in tiny scrolls and be able to skillfully use those weapons, badass status right there.
I'm hyped for Absolver. Looks like a cool open world fighting game.
