New sub here. Bears Cards 34 suggested you. Those 85s are tough to grade, even straight out of the pack. I was born a little before video games were affordable for my family, so let's go with Pong! LOL!
Nice Elway sticker! You found a few other stars in those packs, too. As for sports-themed video games, the first few NHL games released by EA sports would have to be my answer. I spent many hours playing NHL 92, 93, 94, and 95 on Sega Genesis with my high school buddies back then.
Man, I spent a lot of time with my buds too in high school playing the genesis. I loved picking the RedWings so I could have Bob Probert who would bust skulls open because he was like 99/100 for fighting! That and street fighter 2 but that's for a different story lol. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Nice job, man, loved the Art Monk and the Dan Hampton cards. Also, Jimmy Cefalo was a Dolphins WR who caught passes from Dan Marino -- that card you pulled might be his last card in his career. But he's most known as the Voice of the Dolphins radio broadcast crew, and I think he's a sports news guy on one of the channels down there. Good pulls! My favorite sports video game from the '80s was Nintendo Hockey, where you could choose to have big fat guys that were slow, but they had hard slapshots, or skinny fast guys with weak shots. Such a fun game! (Great job on the video!)
That is really cool about Jimmy Cefalo! I was a big Marino fan but I remember the Mark brothers more. The old Nintendo Hockey is awesome and you are spot on with your description. Blades of Steel was also a pretty solid Hockey game too. Thanks again for watching and good luck for the giveaway on Thursday!
You had me at the McMichael rookie! And hearing a Packers fan do the Super Bowl Shuffle is music to a Bears fans ears 🤣 And hey, McMichael had one year on the Packers. I have a Dent in PSA 8 (wishing it was a 10 even more now!) Great rip buddy! Techmo Bowl is my favorite video game too!
I forgot Mongo played for the pack! I remember Jimmy Mac for a season! That Dent rookie is awesome, 3800.i 10!! Thanks for watching bud and hope the Christmas and Holiday season is going well!
These games were the absolute best. On the RBI Baseball game I loved playing the AL All-Stars and getting to play Paul Molitor and Bill Schroeder...no idea how he got on the team!
Yeah, its going be a challenge, but my son is pretty excited about it! I'm more excited to open garbage pail kids with my daughter...now that's something I can have fun with!
This is my favorite card is the 1988 Burt Butler mint condition I have in the corners are slick there's no bent corners it's a nice colorized card in the back of the stats on Orange where is only worth two dollars my uncle said he ain't worth getting a $2 card for 1988 certified by a certification company that's weird that look on his face when he's has a headshot 1988 Topps I got it in a box of 1988 trade cards keep up the good work Wisconsin excellent memories of players who didn't use steroids😊
I have been collecting now 2022 close to 45 years yes I'm OLD you have more guts then me. I never buy vintage packs off eBay unless it's a dealer with 4 years or more in selling vin. NEVER EVER from anyone with less then 100% rating. Always best when starting a vin collecting go to a shop that sells them.
You are almost always better off buying the cards you want then trying to bust packs. The reason I do it is for that rush of getting a big hit or just remembering childhood breaking packs. I've had some duds and some really good pack breaks. I'm starting to be way more careful on who I buy from after I opened a 1975 Topps that was obviously resealed. Thanks for watching!!
Henry Ellard was the best card hands down followed by the Elway 2nd yr sticker. Hopefully you didn't throw away the wrapper I could use it for my PC. Enjoy the weekend!😎
I agree on the Ellard.ill look for the cello and you can have it if I didn't ruin it. I know people collect wax wrappers and empty boxes but you are the first cello collector! Don't forget to mention your fav sports video game and you'll be entered in the Christmas Eve Eve Eve giveaway
I couldn't agree more with you! Every little nick or chip shows up on the black. I think thats why there is good value in the cards depending on condition. I appreciate you watching! And love MTs Punch out!
Did not play many console games, these are computer games; Front Page Sports: Football Pro ’98, Earl Weaver Baseball II, Tony La Russa Baseball 3 1996 Edition
In the last 2 rips I pulled three Steneruds. Would be happy to send him to you in the mail for free. email me your address. linserbrau@msn.com - Thanks for watching and subscribing! Merry Christmas!!
It is definitely a unique looking set. I appreciate it more than when I was younger. Those black borders are tough though...show every nick and chip. Thank you for watching

Unstoppable! Great choice for games

Thank you so much! Bear Cards is an awesome guy! Gonna have some fun rips next year!
I loved playing Madden ‘99, one of the few Madden games I got to play.
That was actually the last Madden game I played. Too many options - the old Super Techmo Bowl you had like 6 plays total lol
Nice Elway sticker! You found a few other stars in those packs, too. As for sports-themed video games, the first few NHL games released by EA sports would have to be my answer. I spent many hours playing NHL 92, 93, 94, and 95 on Sega Genesis with my high school buddies back then.

Excitebike!!! Original NES
Wow! Never thought that would make the list...awesome!!!!!!
Oh. My favorite is still we sports. Bowling and golf the most
Spent a lot of time playing wii sports at the inlaws house - thanks for watching!!
I love this year. I have the Warren Moon RC.
85 is an overlooked year - sandwiched between two iconic sets. Moon, Dent, McMichael RCs. I never seem to pull Moon - very cool card for your PC.
@@thewaxpackdad very true, due to those iconic rookies coming out of those yrs. I grew up in Houston and have always been a Moon fan tho.
You had me at the McMichael rookie! And hearing a Packers fan do the Super Bowl Shuffle is music to a Bears fans ears 🤣

@@thewaxpackdad thanks buddy! Your second pack was really nice! Hey Christmas and happy holidays to you too!
I wasn't much of a gamer but liked RoadBlasters at Chuck E Cheese or Circus Circus. That's racing I suppose.
Roadblasters!! I remember that game! Awesome Brian! Hope all is well and thanks for watching. Hope you win next week!
I agree with RBI baseball and NHL 93. One of my other favorites was the original Madden 1990. NBA Jam and Original Tecmo Bowl were awesome too.
These games were the absolute best. On the RBI Baseball game I loved playing the AL All-Stars and getting to play Paul Molitor and Bill Schroeder...no idea how he got on the team!
Really cool your trying the Pokémon for your son. I don’t think I could stomach it. Happy holidays !!!
😊
Yeah, its going be a challenge, but my son is pretty excited about it! I'm more excited to open garbage pail kids with my daughter...now that's something I can have fun with!
My favorite sports video is probably atari 2600 bowling. That's how i learned to keep score
I loved that game. You could either throw the straight ball, angled or move any way ball!!!
Mattel hand held football game!
Old school I Love it!!

That sounds like fun! Favorite team to play on MVP?
@@thewaxpackdad always Rockies

Such a condition sensitive set, reminds me of 71 BB. And I'll go with Mike Tyson's Punch Out 🥊🥊

Tecmo Super Bowl!
Even if Jerry Rice is beaten up he's still the best WR on the game. Unstoppable!
Did not play many console games, these are computer games; Front Page Sports: Football Pro ’98, Earl Weaver Baseball II, Tony La Russa Baseball 3 1996 Edition
Awesome games may have to try Earl Weaver? Was that a manager stat type game?
@@thewaxpackdad All three are manger stat and actual play...although playing these games were extremely lacking. Best just to manage. LOL
I’m your sack man
My name is Dent
If the quarterbacks slow
He’s gonna get bent!
I just watched the video in it's entirety - love it and love the 80s! Thanks for commenting!
Madden football 2021
