Great to see you on the trail with Kiki...living the best life for sure...and a big ole tail wag from my Otis! Absolutely beautiful area! So wish I could get Otis to enjoy the water...maybe one day... Thanks for the great adventure! Bruce and Otis
Oh man, I've been gone for a while, and fun to get back. Love watching any video with Kiki! Great to see her swimming around. In Alaska, dog booties are for ice, snow, cold -- in California, they are for heat and rocks! That is a beautiful lake and wonderful camping site. We had German Shepherd dogs for 35 years, and swam with them when we weren't in Alaska. They loved to swim up here too; they would jump into any lake, river, or ocean. Beautiful footage in this video. Really enjoyed it!
@@LostAgainwithJim heck ya. always nice to get a trip in when you can even if it is a short one. ill definitely be adding that one to my list of future hikes
Definitely! Game trials can be hard to recognize. And when a trail isn’t well marked, you have to be extra careful. I do a ton of pre trip planning, going over maps etc, and even then I occasionally take the wrong path.

She loves the trail! And the water. Haha. Sometimes I wish I could get her OUT of the lakes haha.

Kiki’s trail name is Boots haha. She loves them. She wears them in the ice and snow too.
Looks like you chose a great area for this hike. The dog loves it so I do too.
I’m very lucky to live so close to so many trails. When plans have to change, I have a ton of options.

It’s a nice little hike. Perfect for a quick trip to test new gear.

Good morning, have a great day at work. Sometimes easy enough to confuse game paths with paths humans might use.
