Love finding good videos like this. Ordered my 2025 gt premium 14 days ago! Carbonized grey metallic with matte film wrap, performance pack, nite pony package, magneride, active exhaust, red calipers. So pumped to give this a try when I get it
You’re right, it’s not mentioned in the owner’s manual. It is listed in the 2024 Mustang Technical Specs PDF found on Ford’s website and taught at the Ford Performance Racing School, though. Hope that helps!
Hey Chris, great video. I've seen on the gauge cluster that the 2024 has horizontal shift lights below the rpm gauge (similar to the 2018-2023 shift lights) but I didn't see them on your video. Is this a separate toggle setting? UPDATE: it's a setting within Track Apps, only for manual but I think it can be forced on using Forscan for auto's.
I have a 24 gt premium with a whipple supercharger on it. I have a stock 6 speed mt82 transmission and 3.55 gear. Does this still work with that? The supercharger was installed at the dealership with the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. Any input, questions, or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
How is it better than lifting off your foot from the gas pedal before you shift ? Also shifting too quickly can destroy your synchros, and there is no way to replace a synchro, because only the whole transmission can be replaced, which means $$$$$ for the customer to pay-up (as most car manufacturers will consider it driver-abuse). Maybe Ford is different, but I am speaking from my terrible BMW $$$$$ experience in this matter.
It’s a factory advertised feature from Ford. There are safeguards implemented into the car to make this feature work. I 100% agree with you, if the car isn’t set up for it, then you can damage many of the items you listed. Hope this helps!

@@markay6409 Thank you! You’re gonna love the car once you get it!
That's how I've always raced my supercharged Dark Horse. Nice to know it's also a feature.
Tried it on my why home! #badass
Thanks👍🏻✌🏻
Excited to give it a try… thanks for sharing👍🏽🏁
Had no idea. Gotta get it out and try it
Heck yeah! 💪
Great job 👏 love ur vids
Awesome!!! Having learned to drive a manual ‘69 F100 3-speed on the tree… at the age 14…. This would definitely feel Wild to do this!
I thought it was only on track mode. Thanks for this video!
No problem 👍
Strange that I can't find any mention of this in the owners manual.

Correct! Technically only for manual cars.

Does the 2025 mustang GT come with this feature? @chris
@@mustapha1871 Yes it does!
My 2022 gt has this feature also
I have a 21 PP, wonder if mine has it?
The rev limiter is like 7100rpm tho
Chris, I notice you're in track mode. Is this no-lift-shift applicable to all drive modes?
Yes, it works in all driving modes!

Yeah, the Ford is different. The computer won't let you fuck it up.
Not seem inside one much but have to say that dash is never gonna be in one of my cars…
