I'd honestly be dead or not as healthy as I am without your and your kind contribution to society with this information, Dr. Fuhrman. God Bless you and your Team for making this information available to us. You even helped my Dad who's from a 3rd world country, set in his ways and had no education like this when he was growing up. So in behalf of myself and my Father, Thank you 😔🙏🏻

Great information and even though tons of recipes on your website, it sinks in my brain more to hear you describe how to do these things, what ingredients to use and why. Thank you!!

We are finally getting snow here in VT- what fuels our extended powder days is nothing else but nutritarian foods! Today we had a squash bean soup, bread, homemade granola bars, nuts and seeds, homemade banana bread, grapes, seeded crackers, hummus, and a salad with all of the Furhman Fixins'-😅simply the best fuel ever! I've never felt stronger especially when skiing for extended periods. I wish I could join you in April for your ski week at Snowmass. Come ski the moguls at Mad River Glen(MRG) someday, the food available at MRG could use a nutritarian makeover👀🙌

I grew up with sourdough whole Rye bread that I loved to chew - i am very inspired from your nutritarian food but I eat one 1/2 cup of oats and two slices of whole sourdough Rye bread each day + the Greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, seed/nuts -, berries 6:10 and I love it and continue to follow your lectures and also broaden my choice of a greater variet of vegetables - 🎶🍀🎵💚🐸

I appreciate your taking the time to really explain what you are adding, why and how. I've often added raisins or some chopped walnuts to savory dishes, and tomato sauces. I pack in whatever greens and veggies and even a little seaweed where I can as well. I also appreciate your incorporating seeds and nuts, as opposed to categorically minimizing them as some who teach about plant-based diets recommend. I think it's all a matter of one's condition, and the context of the entire diet as you have explained in other videos. Wish I could go to Snowmass. I used to live in the Aspen area. Worked for several caterers and restaurants at the time. ~Tracy

Raw peanuts cooked in with soups and stews add a nice crunchiness.
So does crunchy peanut butter, which can be used in various ways, including in a dressing or sauce.

What brand of organic sun dried tomatoes are available? Without preservatives, oil and salt? I cannot find such tomatoes anywhere.

Thanks for videos; I'll be watching and learning. I'm also glad about seeds and nuts, I feel better. I tried Dr McDougall's way, and felt much worse. I think it's due to genes - i have fast ageing genes I'm sure. I'm making changes, ty again.

"What does it mean to moderately restrict calories?"
    1300, 1500, 1800, 2000 kcal?

If you put your stats (height, weight, age and gender) into a metabolic calculator online you can see what your body needs a day to survive. Dr. Fuhrman recommends to restrict calories by about 25-50 calories each day. Depending on your activity level as well you may need more. For me personally I'm 5'0" 120 pounds so my resting metabolic needs are 1200 calories a day. I am lightly active however and I actually need 1600 a day. I try to aim for 1575 a day if I count my calories and that's usually plenty of food for me
