One thing for sure, I never know what she's gonna say. So many times I hear it for the first time while editing. This type of video is different though because we get to actually talk our way through it. Thanks for the cool comment Tony...and we appreciate you stopping by today.
Well, I have a tough time staying ahead of her most times. It's all good though as long as no broken bones are the result of the day. LOL. Thanks for the cool comment my friend.

Well done, glad to see people that still know how to unload logs, not many people can still do it safely! I logged my last 4 teenage years, unloaded many loads of logs (12-16' SYP) with a cant hook, just always had to "read the load!"
I grew up on the business end of a cant hook too. Working with the big old Fisher and Davis circle mill was one of my favorite work days back in the day. We side loaded (par buckled) logs with a tractor, wooden poles and cables too. No loaders back then. Well we had a MH44 with a loader, but it would barely lift a rounded bucket full of manure, so logging was mostly by hand.
Oh boy I bet she gave you an ear full when the camera was off!!! Her commentary is always great. I do the same thing sometimes with not wanting to bother getting a tractor out to help. I pay for it later but as long as I accomplish my goal, I'm ok with a little pain. 😂😂😂
Yeah, but it was all light hearted. Well...mostly anyway. The cool thing about staying busy is you almost never get sore. 'Almost' applies a bit loosely in this case. But yes, sometimes its easier to just go ahead and do it by hand. If the load was all bent, twisted and knotty, the tractor would have been the first choice no matter what. These were mostly all easy rollers. That's why the only two crooked ones were all the way on top.
Good job buddy glad it went good no broken bones that was a big load of wood and the Misses did a fantastic job on the play by play take care have a great week
Good Morning Tom. Yeah, it brought back a few memories of how we used to unload before we had loader tractors. LOL. It's not really dangerous as long as a fella keeps his head in the right place AND ready to jump.
I usually have two with me. One with a longer handle for leverage. I needed it for sure on a couple of them. Yes, these two loads were pretty good for sure. I think we got a better stacked and packed load on the dump trailer for my sons woodpile though.
Earlier last week I had that same delimma. So I doubled up on the load to make it in one trip just so the second trip back was only for the tractor/grapple. I'm thinking I was a little overloaded. But I have new rubber on the truck AND trailer.
Heck yeah !! That was the whole idea and it worked to perfection. LOL. The thing about it is there's plenty of room for error. Thanks David for the smile this morning.
Oh Tractor man 44 you sir are a sight for sore eyes. Better listen to the Mrs TRACTORMAN 44. Your subs need to enjoy many more videos and I really enjoy sheet metal videos.
Good Evening Tom. As always, its great to hear from you. I haven't been doing a lot of sheet metal....I think I finally have weened myself off it for a while. There 'WILL be one from time to time though.
Hahahaha...she gets a little too nervous sometimes. But its all good Rick. It's nice to know she still cares after nearly 50 years !! LOL. You can break your MIssus in easy then spring a big one on her when she's not expecting it. LOL
Hahahaha....perfect application of the phrase isn't it. LOL. It's really not that dangerous but a fella can't be asleep at the wheel. There IS a major 'squish factor' to be considered though. Thanks for the early morning grin !!
Well, if'n it were me, I'd have used the tractor and grapple, profusely thanking her for the suggestion, then parlayed her sage wisdom into a few bundles of tin for Christmas so you can build a saw shed thus protecting your investment and making it possible to work in inclement weather...all for her , of course.
A bit before midnight and I’m wide awake, in slumber five hours so I need a break! I feel very rested but it’s only at twelve, so it’s 44 I’m intending to delve. Me poem may not be taught in the schools, it may only be linger in the mind of a fool. So I’m punching the buttons and makin some words, from my huge brain a thinkin the size of a bird. And on me screen I’m watching a guy, crawlin on a stack piled high! The Missus is givin him a rant, as he stands there a holdin his mighty cant. Careful of twistin yer aching back, or I’ll take me switch and give you a crack! But I can do he said with a slant, I’ll do it myself with this mighty cant! After all, the Tractorman said, but Missus exclaimed you might wind up in bed! He rolled off a persimmon with care, without messing up his underware! Get the grapple his lady exclaimed, but I can do it with this, said man of 44 fame! And the logs rolled off one by one, as 44 was a movin his buns! The grapple resting but logs fallen down, and 911 ready with his lady around! We men of old a doin some work, need our Ladies around so we aren’t not a jerk! So after this effort a writen this poem, I am not sleepy it might go on. And Tman 44 unloading so fast, he was moving along not resting his ,,,,,back! It’s time to stop I ain’t makin sense, within these words from my mind that is dense. As the sun gets ready to rise with dew drippin, in your direction I’ll be Tippin and sipping! And remember, take it easy cuz ya know how ya are!
Good Morning a second time ol' buddy. I have only one explanation...you just gotta be an 'old soul' who was a poet in a prior life !! I don't know where it comes from, but dang that was quick and good too. Maybe you're a rapper in disguise...M&M maybe. LOL Oh wait, he spells it Eminem. No matter I guess. There's only one DAVEYJO !! Thank you for the early morning grin. It sure made MY day. Funny stuff for sure. Take care and have a wonderful Sunday. On to the second pottaJO already.
Absolutely love these videos when the Mrs. narrates. You know she's right Wendell. 🎱 😃 But don't worry we won't tell her. 🤣🤣

Sure glad I did not have to unload those logs. Good job Wendell.

@ only problem with jumping is I can’t jump as fast and the landing is not so great either lol have a great day
@ hahahaha… agreed Tom. The landing IS tough on an old body !!
Excellent cant hook technique. That was a pay load.
I usually have two with me. One with a longer handle for leverage. I needed it for sure on a couple of them. Yes, these two loads were pretty good for sure. I think we got a better stacked and packed load on the dump trailer for my sons woodpile though.
Thankz Windel and Mrs. I appreciate you showing yer unloading.my issue is the grapple is at the loading zone so this iz mighty helpful!
Earlier last week I had that same delimma. So I doubled up on the load to make it in one trip just so the second trip back was only for the tractor/grapple. I'm thinking I was a little overloaded. But I have new rubber on the truck AND trailer.
That waz quite a load!
Those logs fell exactly where you wanted them to... off the trailer! 😄

Nice load of logs Wendell. I think the missus was trying to ruin all your fun. Haha. Mine won't even watch when I do things like that. Haha
Hahahaha...she gets a little too nervous sometimes. But its all good Rick. It's nice to know she still cares after nearly 50 years !! LOL. You can break your MIssus in easy then spring a big one on her when she's not expecting it. LOL

Thanks John. I sure wish I had a set up similar to yours though. I like that truck you haul with.
Good work offloading a nice jag of logs there eh! Thanks for sharing

Good morning Wendell
Hey good morning Gary. I was thinking about you today. I'm gonna stop by and see if you've fired up the buzz saw yet.....
Cool video T man and mrs. T man.

Best slice some of that red oak up in 2 by planks for a new trailer deck. 😁
Boy o boy, if that decking ain't embarrassing I don't know what is !! LOL. I'm on it, just not real quickly.
Nice job Wendell but sometimes you need to listen to your wife haha. Dont tell her I said that that though😀.
This is why women can never be accused of using the phrase, ( hold my beer and watch this) 😂

@tractorman4461 i know. I just had to add it because of your wife's commentary.
@@Sawbucs Hahahaha...she's got her own way of thinking, that's for sure. But that's also why we get along pretty good. Comment anytime !!
One day you will realize she was right to get the tractor! Probably the morning after this!😂
Hahahaha.... oh I'd never admit that to her though. She did say that'd she'd go get it for me. Next time I might let her do just that.
👍👏👍👏
