Hi Mark. Beautiful cherry lumber. That's the best part of that tree. Fantastic grain. Thanks Mark. Say Hi to Ed. Have a good Thrusday night the 7th. 🥰🙂😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌌
Starting our Friday Eve with a cherry turtle. Thanks for sharing this beautiful log. My spousal unit overheard your “beautiful face” comment and promptly assumed I was watching an “adult” channel. Fortunately she looked over my shoulder expecting smut and came away most confused. ;~) Wishing you and Eddie a terrific weekend. Peace brother
👍👌👏 Gorgeous wood! I can almost smell the wonderful scent of those freshly sawn cherry boards. Believe it or not but it's similar to if you shred cherry laurel to garden mulch. Nature is simply fantastic! Best regards, luck and especially health to all involved.
I’ve always enjoyed your videos! So much beautiful lumber..and good music at the end! Keep up the good work guys, hello to all! God bless, take care and stay safe!🙏✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Living in Colorado...I'd love to be able to just drive a couple hours and pick up a bunk of cherry... If I remember correctly, Mark used WALNUT for a roof beam... I hope you realize how good you got it...
I agree I am in Oklahoma and while we have a lot of trees I am not aware of any native cherry and very little walnut. The only saw mill I know about shut down a couple years ago. I wish I could drive a couple hours and get a pickup load of cherry or walnut.
I love cherry. I don't make furniture anymore but turn cherry bowls from one of my own trees. Some of those large offcuts would be nice to turn. I'm too far away (Illinois) to come and get some. I really enjoy your sawing and commentary.
I think that's the most fun part. Ya never know what a piece of lumber is going to become. It may become a family treasure that they have for a hundred years.
I don't remember if you covered this question. I'm sure you have, and I just missed it. What is the hardest wood to cut? By that I mean what wood tends to wear down the blade more than others? Thanks! -->Ric
I am wondering what the object/objects are in the chips just to the left of the belt and sawblade as you look toward the mill. Sort of looks like a hat on a log. Thanx
lots of things , what can the mandrel handle , what size saw collars, what size logs are you going to saw , what pattern of saw , how many HP , how big is the opening on the carriage , ect.
Nine o’clock in the morning just back from my one day of work this week ,nice boards and grain in that cheery I’ve got sciatica in a hip which is restricting my mobility along with knee surgery, young fella we took on is home with me I’m teaching him to pass his welding and plasma cutting to pass his test for the tickets , he had a mis spent youth and got into trouble but like a lot of lads they just need a chance at a decent job with pay he’s working out and gets on with the crew who keep an eye on him, any way you guys have a nice day
Two things ,the very 1st cut can that piece be sold to hobbyists, 2nd ,the wood you call cherry can I assume that is the tree where we get the fruit, excuse me for my ignorance 😀
Pretty good working weather this day. You mentioned Green Acres and Grandpa really liked that. Wonder if he had the "hots" for Lisa Gabor?? After those funky cherry logs this was a very nice piece.
Sawing = mathematics. The tree is the data structure. The sawyer has developed some algorithms. He uses these algorithms to solve the task, given a particular data structure. Different sawyers use different algorithms. I am not a sawyer. I just get satisfaction in you applying your algorithms to tree trunks.
Wow! beautiful wood. Small pieces are perfect for those of us with limited space, resources and time. I wish I lived closer. You guys are a tad longer of a distance away from San Diego than a comfortable road trip. Your closed caption is still working fine for my area. Stop trying to please all those psuedo experts out there. A good definition of an expert is, an "ex" is a has-been and a "spirt" is a drip under pressure. Enough said.

10:48.... Beautiful board... Sweet Cherry

True. Not a good idea "to saw the pit out of it." Beautiful cherry.
thanks Richard lol.
Cherry has such a beautiful rich color!!!!
this was nice.

yes that's true we have a great abundance of hardwood here in western PA.
Love it Mark, cherry is one my favorite woods to work with. Love the edger music.
thank you.
Love the Cherry and cc was good again thanks
thank you.
🍒 Excellent episode today, actually boy oh boy it's just a really nice week. 🇺🇸😉
thanks Michael.
Good looking log!!
thank you.
Closed caps are good!
that's great!
Happy whatever day it is!😊
Gorgeous grain pattern, where geographically do you find such huge logs?
western PA
Great video! Thanks!
thanks Bob.
That was some beautiful cherry, nice grain
thanks Gary.

Yeah that fourth piece of cherry wood that was a beautiful bar table wow beautiful
Nice work guys, Awsome job
thanks Bobby.
Gorgeous stuff!
thanks Rob.
Beautiful lumber!!!
thanks Rick.
@ 9:35 the bar project will make a great video ( or two ) this winter when the weather is too bad to run the sawmill !
you will see it.
Really nice wood in that log!
I was a freshman in college when Green Acres first aired ... I much preferred watching that show than studying.
I like it LOL!
Interesting craft wood with a chance to be eye candy!
Wonderful wood…. And just for the record…only 4 years 😊😊😊😊
thank you.
As cousin Eddy would say " shes a bueat Mark "
for sure lol.
Good video Bus Motor Productions.
thanks James.
A lot of the small pieces can make great jewelry boxes.
true.
Rey nice cherry! Eddy would l8ke to work a project with this lumber!
thanks JS , I will be making a bar for Buzzy out of this Cherry.
Green Acres? Thanks for that little nod to my home state Iowa!
thank you , ua-cam.com/video/DrbPAt1_vc4/v-deo.htmlsi=TT0_xcEZFoul_-pM
Great video
thank yoy.
Great video! Captions are still working😊
thanks Chuck.
Do you have any plans of building a lean-to for storing some of your cut lumber?
Your sawing content is bare none some of the best.
I think that's the most fun part. Ya never know what a piece of lumber is going to become. It may become a family treasure that they have for a hundred years.
very true!
I used to use cherry wood in ye old smoker, amongst other woods.😊
If you need any more cherry or white pine, I got a triaxle load of each here in central pa
I don't remember if you covered this question. I'm sure you have, and I just missed it. What is the hardest wood to cut? By that I mean what wood tends to wear down the blade more than others? Thanks! -->Ric
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing while watching this. I’m sure some species have to be harder on the saw & edger.
good ole hickory hard as nails!
You guys always share good information thanks guys
thanks Wilma.
I am wondering what the object/objects are in the chips just to the left of the belt and sawblade as you look toward the mill. Sort of looks like a hat on a log. Thanx
not sure?
Nice log.
thanks Gail.
keep up the good work
thanks John.
Whatever happened to the kiln build?
on hold because of power.
On a circle mill, what determines the diameter of the blade to use? Engine HP?
lots of things , what can the mandrel handle , what size saw collars, what size logs are you going to saw , what pattern of saw , how many HP , how big is the opening on the carriage , ect.
@@markgalicic7788 Lots of decisions to make, eh? Thanks for the info.
Have youi ever shown us exactly WHERE the Laser is located?
yes I have , above the saw.

Hey Mark it looks like you need to reset your wire on your drive drum it's getting kind of close to the edge.
thanks I will check it out.
I would sell my soul for a log like that!... I would have to wait until I was 200 years old before mine were that big.
we have lots of cherry here in western PA
nice lumber off that log ,the closed caption is working ,here ,
Nice work. I saw on one of Eddies videos you run the ol' 2 stroke at 1,700 rpm
You figure she’s giving you about 100 horse?
Have you been running that same mill 34 years?
no this is the third mill we have ran.
Captions are working.
Definitely some really nice boards from this one. I know you saw John use the taper on his video yesterday lol. Isn't ZZ due for parole soon?
Bill
thanks Bill , did you say put the taper John LOL. ZZ should be back soon.
Mark, during one of these videos, you need to explain how the edger works.
He has a couple times both on the current and former edger.
@@wauhawk thanks ,
Hey Mark, So when is ZZ making a come back ? I miss the whole gang. Enjoyed the video, Thanks for sharing.
thanks Rich , he should be back soon.
Interested in how the costing model looks for sawing someone elses log. Just the formula.
Launched on Nov 7 Thursday you say Friday video. Does that mean you filmed the previous Friday?
He said Friday Eve. That's the day before Friday.
@@williamellis8993 thanks Bill lol.
Nice cherry tree 🪵🪵
thanks Clarence.
Hey every flip of you log is 90 degrees and flips is 180 degrees. It’s the same as reading a compass. Lol
close caption is working but the spelling is off on a few words
that's great!
Better late than never Boom. 😅
Awe-rite
Doing it one way is your way and is different.. remember different is not wrong just different
true as long as you have done it.
Yes the CC is working on this video Mark.
that's great.
Two things ,the very 1st cut can that piece be sold to hobbyists, 2nd ,the wood you call cherry can I assume that is the tree where we get the fruit, excuse me for my ignorance 😀
this is wild black cherry.
@ thank you for your reply ,nice wood .
@ 02:00 still missing one of the Gnome Bros. / but a least your subtitles problem seems to have been solved as they showing up loud and clear !!!
thanks Richard, I will look for Carl lol.
The closed caption was never your issue, I believe it was people's phone or pc,as it has always been on every video for me
Pretty good working weather this day. You mentioned Green Acres and Grandpa really liked that. Wonder if he had the "hots" for Lisa Gabor?? After those funky cherry logs this was a very nice piece.
thanks Anthony , I love Green Acres lol!
I am curious to know why the first two logs were so ugly and this one is so fantastic and they were all 3 from the same tree.
the butt log is the best piece of any tree.
Mr Haney Lmfao
Mr. Haney n Sam Drucker 😁
I like it LOL!
laser seems to see better now
it does show up good on cherry.
CC is working. 😀
that's great!

The name of that edger music is so apt (for the whole world). No more woke crap.

that's great.
It's Still Working...
thanks Russ.
This is your dog and pony show, so to speak. You set the venue and the price of admission. If people don't like it they can go elsewhere,
if you look at the first log ,when you cut it, looks like its a small chicken hahahaha the shape of it
I will look lol.
Looks like I was somehow unsubscribed, I think it’s a ploy to increase total overall subs on UA-cam, if you look at your total followers it doesn’t go down when it happens, but does go up when resubscribing.
yes we have lots of people being unsubscribed.
@ but, your total doesn’t get reduced.
