You know the drummer is good when Ronnie (Vannucci, the band's regular drummer) walks away. You know the drummer is great when Ronnie picks up the guitar. You know the drummer is exceptional when Ronnie starts singing backing vocals. Ronnie sang.
Did anyone else notice that the audience clapping was dragging behind the beat against the guitar player? The drummer looked like he got turned around and his high hat was ok beat 2 and 4 with the clapping, but the guitar player quickly fixed it at around 1:50 by adding a beat. It sounds as if the video/audio skipped, but I'm pretty sure that was guitar player who was doing that deliberately This is the same trick that Harry Connick Jr. used. Props to the guitar player for his quick thinking and fixing that so quickly.
