My sweet spot is 80dried grams. I would even recommend that for a first timer. San Pedro is a very gentle teacher, even when he's not. The worst part is drinking it. Only felt sour stomach once and that was when I put it in capsules and swallowed. I normally chase each foul gulp with a small swish of whiskey. If you have any stomach issue, eat something. Even a slice of fresh bread with a cut of good cheese will help with any discomfort. And if you can't imgaine eating, just be patient, it passes rather quickly.

I'm in Sydney. We have a massive cactus community in Aus, so you're lucky. The word you want to search for is "trichocereus" There's Facebook groups with many growers, personally I use eBay though. Just search "tricho" or trichocereus Herbalistics.com.au is another great source, bought from them a few times
Question belows, new subscriber& THANK YOU! Does dehydration extract all or the majority of the alkaloids versus boiling? Is a Coffee Grinder better than a Poulstice & Maul? Or are they better in combination? How long is the powder good for? Just invested 20 hours in 2 days prepping,boiling, etc to make 4 doses & if it wasn't for the fact I was medicating myself with Mushrooms I would have gone crazy Buying a dehydrator tomorrow!
Dehydrating you are not extracting the alkaloids from the cactus, but the alkaloid content does raise when dried but due to the weight reduction you still need to eat or consume the relative same section for same effects

Hi Dean. A full visionary dose of San Pedro would be around 30 grams of powder. Experienced journeyers could go as much as 2 to 3 times that. When microdosing, I usually go for between 2 to 5 grams. Best to start small though.

You can use your ocen to dehydrate mine even has a button to push for that but if your oven doesnt have that option 140 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit or 60 to 80 celsius for my non american friends and use a spoon or something to prop your oven about an inch to an inch and a half open and let them dry for about 8 or more hours make sure to check every so often to make sure that everything is ok and you should get the same result as a dehydrator but still having a dehydrator is much better in my opinion.
You could mix it with just room temperature water, but it's hella bitter and the texture feels like gulping mud, to me feels more effective that way but I don't really like it. I rather making capsules, personally I just put them on rolling paper with a gram per ball and start eating them like my grandma her pills before going to sleep. If you can't grind them into powder, a friend of mine eats it like if they were chips, with a bit of salt and lemon juice feels tolerable to eat, but that's my very last resort to me. In the end, do what you want, but that powder must be on your stomach one way or another
