So I have an honest question - it seems to me like you would want to replace the crankshaft bearings at the same time. So you must have a reason for not, or I must be wrong. Which is it?😂
I was very tempted to replace them, but as far as I know the only issue with this 4.2 Td 12valve engine is the Big End Bearings, 10 out of 10 people advised me not to touch them. So i did not😁

@@TheLandCruiserChannel Makes sense - if 10 out of 10 agree, then yeah I would do exactly as you have done👍
@@JTuggy_MissionFrmGlobalMargins Cheers Mate, thanks for watching, 🙏
Do you know how many miles the engine had done
254k miles, there is a short video on my channel with the engine running b4 taking it apart, 🙏
@@TheLandCruiserChannel Cheers. Not too bad considering. Unfortunately people tend not to change the oil as regular as they should as a vehicle ages.
@@harveysmith100 as they say, there are not bad cars/engines, just bad maintanance,
@@TheLandCruiserChannel 100%. I do my 70 every 3000 miles. Up to 190'000 now which is not bad for a 2.4 in a heavy vehicle.
