The Budhigandaki hydropower project considered a game changer for Nepal, is still in its infancy since 1984. The cost of this project, which had to be completed at 2 Kharab 60 Arab Nepali rupees, has now reached more the 3 Kharab 50 Arab. Since 2073 BS, additional tax has been collected on petroleum for project construction. The collection has reached one kharab of 16 Arab rupees till last June. In this video, we have explained in detail where the money raised for Budhigandaki is being spent and why this project could not go ahead.
