Just amazing this is one of my favorites Thank you so much it really helps me a lot. Fantastic explanation. I really appreciate your effort. you are amazing!
Hi Jonathan, .Thank you! Excellent tutorial! Please let me know where I can find the music sheet for this song and for the other tutorials you have in the channel like La Paloma. Thanks!
So how do you go about studying music: do you try to understand the rhythm first, or understand the melody first then the rhythm? Also is it good to do the former with pizzacato first and then play it with a bow later?
This is a great question, one which I will answer in this month's Q&A. In short, it depends on the music and your ease with learning one over the other. And yes, pizz is helpful at first. More to come on this!
Thank you so much!! Very useful. Keep guiding us :D Please where can I find the same music sheet you have in the video. I have downloaded a different one and it so misleading me :/
Jonathan please tell me in general when you play cello how do you manage to bow a sheet music is it half bow for half note whole bow for whole note quarter bow for quarter notes does it work always this way?
Not always but yes in an essential way. We use a portion of the bow to play longer notes and can use 1/2 that portion to play notes 2x as fast - like a half note followed by two quarter notes. Yet more often so, our music scores are not "bowed symmetrically". So we must take care to manage the bow speed and distribute the bows place of contact.

Cómo consigo esa partitura?
Is there anywhere online I can get the sheet music? Preferably for free.
Because the music is under authorship, it is not available legally for free online
Very interesting video, indeed! I translated it in French for my friends, if you want to approve it.
Bien sur, je vous remercie!
I don't know whether I have to do something particular to get published the translation I sent; I suppose it's up to you. Thank you for such a work!
Here is a link - ua-cam.com/users/timedtext_video?v=t1NvcGXMmOM&ref=share to publish your sous titres (hopefully it works)
Yes, i used it to sent my translation, but I can't approve it by myself. I would have liked to share it, and others!
