I read that audiences didn't accept 64-year-old Jack Klugman as the father of 23-year-old John Stamos. What's wrong with that? He was 41 years older than him. A lot of guys have kids at 41 or even older.
I wish I could have a channel that had every show and movie ever made lol. Screw all this copyright bullshit. Then you scroll and pick whatever you want to watch. I doubt they will ever release it because it would cost more than it would be worth. It also depends on the contracts they signed way back then.
The show probably took the cake for the absolute worst TV show opening! The scenes were just terrible and the music is beyond horrific. I remember liking the show back in the 80s though!
I agree. It's as if they forgot they needed an opening segment and ran out in a panic and did it in a couple of hours (including writing and recording the theme) It needed an upbeat theme.Think of Benson or Soap.
Omg I totally remember this show. What a flashback!
RIP jack klugman
I remember this show, thought it was all but forgotten about

My dad was 56 years old when I was born 😮❤
@@tonybrown7041 Really?
@@James-if3kc Yes
@@tonybrown7041 Cool!
Elizabeth Bennet who played the housekeeper was also in the British TV Home To Roost Original Series
Even more amazing is that both series ran concurrently for a time so Ms. Bennett obviously logged a whole bunch of British Airways miles.
I was named after John Stamos's character in this show
I wonder if CBS Television (the current rights holder) will ever release this show on digital or disc formats. I want to see it.
Decades could probably show it someday
Maybe it'll show up on Antenna TV.

If this show would have lasted more than one season, they would have had a different Uncle Jesse on Full House.
It lasted two seasons 1985-87
1987-1995 It Means Our Very First Show To Michelle Rides Again
And if Stamos' first sitcom "Dreams" from 1984 would have lasted longer, he wouldn't have been on this show either.
Is it as good as Home to Roost? the series is it is based on?
Is this 19 something like 1990?
1986.
Same car in Full house?

Yeah it's just scholarly sounding classical music and random scenes where nothing happens, lol.
Yikes!
