Drunken Lullabies was the first song I ever heard from these guys in 2002, not knowing that they had been around prior. Being born in '93, I feel like I've grown up with these guys. Not only that...they make me proud of my Irish blood, which I think is a tremendous quality in a band.
I would give just about anything too hear a acoustic concert with Flogging Molly.. The 4 tracks on Speed of Darkness Deluxe Edition are just breathtaking.. love em..
Some people saying "bad audience". No they're just not an american audience that acts like total jackasses and half pay attention to the music between moshing and and yelling. These are fans that want to see musicians they like and admire, perform their craft. And it's an unplugged (so to speak) gig. So I submit, they're a fucking excellent audience.
Hey, me again. They're music lovers, not party animals. Every band has at least two different kinds of fans, like that. That's me at a US FM gig. It'd make for a funny scene in something I bet. Bodies flying around and then cut to me... I just kinda calmly strafe to the side as a beer bottle flings thru the spot I was standing... and then a drunk person flies thru the same spot a second later. lol Maybe they were rowdy, and the store owner told em to calm down and stop breaking shit, or FM is going home cause it ain't the Electric Factory? lol There's lots and lots of FM videos with that, if you want. I'm thrilled to see something different. :-)

Well, all I mean is, you don't need to burn down the place; at least, nod your head, tap your feet... smile, look alive :O I can be rowdy or calm as fudge... either way, you'll see me enjoying the music, not staring at the band, the floor or the ceiling like a statue... it's just that, it pisses me off... a lil' bit. The band members are busting their asses on stage, killing it, putting everything on every song... the least you can do is let them know you're enjoying it. But, I get it... different people, different "reactions"... I guess O.o
Dave & Bridgette get it, I'm sure. :-) I've played in rock bands. Sometimes it is nice to have a nice little thing like this and get away from the usual fans, that are pissing themselves all over you. lol Figuratively and/or literally.
Almost got punched in the mouth for this in Spain. Was drinking with my brother in an Irish pub and some rowdy English group wanted me to sing a song. They had been obnoxious the whole time so I chose this one... Not even Irish myself (Dutch)
it would be too good to be true to have that kind of live music played for me and my friends. Not even with a contract not to scream while filming... Noone could have prevented me to jump and scream...
