Good thing and at least Shauna Gambill was able to go to Miss World 98 as Miss USA and make the semifinals. It was Jamie Solinger who had the big misfortune at that same Miss USA 98. She was cruelly left out of the semifinals which she should have made at least.

@alexsdb9712 I think it's really sad but I think that pageants are on the way out in this country in other countries they're still huge but Miss.America is on life support when pageants go from being major network events to really obscure networks when the dates of the pageants keep changing the writings on the wall I think that with MISS USA they will select a beautiful model to represent us in international pageants Miss World USA actually did this one year no pageant just a selection Australia used to do this when pageants faded there but that all changed when the selected model they sent to Miss Universe won
