When I watched the Miss Universe Pageant 2019, it brought me back to the Miss Teen USA pageant in 1996 evening gown competition. I attended the pageant in my home state of New Mexico, when Bob announced Miss Oklahoma I was sitting next to her family and remember them making all that noise cheering as she walked. Miss Missouri, Lea Sexton was my favorite to win but unfortunate she messed up during the judges questions. Miss Teen Texas did answer the final question the best and I knew she would take the crown, Congratulations Christi. Just loved the back ground of the Carlsbad Caverns during the evening gown competition
