Resynthesizing samples as digital oscillators followed by being able to dive deep into the samples using synthesis based transformers + trad-modulation + filters & efx is absolutely brilliant! 🤯 Great set of patches as well 🤌 Can't wait to pick this up!
Your patches are great! And the sonic quality of this synth is top-level. I'm very impressed with the sound indeed! I need to know more details... going to do some research.
You've made some of the most beautiful, atmospheric patches for Myth. Great work and so in tune with the name! I'm new to Myth. What I'd love to see is a breakdown of a patch or two, to see how you got there. It's so satisfying to make your own. Would that be possible if there's more requests along the same line? Take care.
The Cricket Song patch alone would be worth all the moneys for this thing. Based on just your patches here, MYTH sounds a lot more musical, etheric and dare I say... BEAUTIFUL vs. How KULT and Abyss sound quite demonic and NOVUM which sounds exactly like Cthulhu The characteristics of these patches and synthesis engines remind me of Tone2 synths, with a homage to the KORG Wavestation (not the wavestate. HAS has that brightness and animated panorama feeling like Wavestation had)
What’s your favorite synth these days? Mine is a tossup between Serum, Vital, and Phaseplant. But all four of these monsters from Dawesome are intriguing me as well, at least the patches are! The GUIs are quite busy and will take some getting used to.
Huh, so no analog synth emulation? Oh well. JUST JOKING!!! it's plugin Developers like Dawsome who offer actual real invoation and the means to be creative. I need not anymore Junos and Arp2600s and Oberhiemlich maneuvers. I need more Abysses,KULTS and Novums!!! So I'm totally stoked about this release
I would go even further and say, not only do I not need another analog emulation, I don't need another analog replica in hardware. There are brand new instruments that cost thousands of euros/dollars and they sound little different than their ancestors 40 years ago. I just don't get it... What's the point except showing the world: look, I have enough money to buy expensive gear! As you say, true innovation is happening here, in the world of (often) derided VST instruments. This is where the future of sound can be found. In the analog world, it's the yesterday.
You guys are clueless No vst will ever provide the character that a proper analog synth offers I accept using synths and contribute financially to the virtual world but am under no “illusion” that you get anything that remotes the character of a Prophet, Moog, Fender Rhodes, Yamaha CS, Oberheim….No chance
@@MilesShade With analog synths it's like with your favorite beer: served in a neutral glass, you won't taste/recognize it anymore. In a blind audition, you won't properly hear the difference of an analog original and a good(!) emulation. It's all totally subjective in the moment you see and touch it. Like with your beer! 🙃
Sounds great. Especially good for cinematic work and ambient. I'm sure the colour bass / future riddim people will like it too. Nice job on the patches and thanks for the demo!
JUst bought it a few minutes ago and it really is a cool synth, ( Theres a sale of $125 now reg price is $179) but it is going to take some time to make my own patches love your patches that 80's patch is nice
@@SoundAuthor didn't notice that. everytime i opened myth so far i went directly to the init button. but in this video it worked super well with whatever you composed with it
@@SoundAuthor I wasn’t implying that… but that synth totally floats my boat! (And based on your patches here, I get why you took a liking to KRC Mathwaves! This is totally in the same universe.
Yep. Inside of each oscillator section, there are two optional "Wave" modules that provide traditional subtractive waveforms, and there are also analog modeled filters.

Alas, Myth is no longer merely mythological! Sounds & looks amazing. Bravo!
Those pads are great! Reminds me a bit of Carbon Based Lifeforms sounds, good job
I was thinking of the same
Awesome sounds you pulled out of our latest toy. Keep on the great work, mate! *thumbs up*

I plan on purchasing MYTH with my next check, all because of your patches! Nice job man -- you have a new sub -- best wishes!

don't forget the new drum synth Battalion. It rules!

Serum takes a dump on every one of those synths you just listed… literally laughs at your, “analog character”.

Really awesome
I "found" Myth yesterday by coinsidence ... what a great instrument! And your Sounds are wonderful, like always :)
Wundervolle Sounds! Gratulation!
Excellent.

Great presentation. Thank you.
Dawesome is Awesome. 😎 I've got Abyss and Kult. I'll add Myth to my wishlist. Thanks for the great review. 🎶
Be sure to get Novum as well - it’s top notch all around!
There’s a cool wavering quality that reminds me of Thomas Dolby’s Flat Earth album!
Amazing Bryan, you're a sound wizard!
Ohh man, this sounds great!
Nice work on these presets! 👏👏
Hadn’t heard of this thing. Very interesting. Everything is spectral now. Is this out, or still in beta/prerelease?
I read April 18th somewhere but not sure.
Beautiful ❤
Elven Tomb is super satisfying
Thank you! I was very flattered that Peter decided to make it the default preset!

Great sounds! What keyboard do you have that has Aftertouch?
Thanks! I'm presently using an Akai MPK249 Pro
😎🍿
Sounds like my wavetables. Interesting synth.
Thanks, and for the record, your wavetables were not resynthesized…though I’m sure you weren’t suggesting that.

does it also function as a stand-alone desktop synth? Or do you have to use it within a DAW?
No standalone I'm afraid. Must use a host.
can this also do analog-style leads and such?
Yep. Inside of each oscillator section, there are two optional "Wave" modules that provide traditional subtractive waveforms, and there are also analog modeled filters.
20:10 what that song? Sound familiar.
LOL, I just pulled it out of my ass but it ended up sounding like the main chorus from Seperate Ways by Journey 😂
@@SoundAuthor I found this ua-cam.com/video/7thIVGjArZw/v-deo.html xD
R they for Sale ?? Why u show them if not....
They are factory patches I've made for the synth. They are included with the synth.
Is this open source?
no
