Such a down to earth and honest interview. His comments about the super hit Murattukkalai is an example. Because it was a hit movie, he didn’t polish his views. He was honest about his opinion & experience at that time. Such legends who did really hard work in those times. They didn’t behave as if they were born with silver spoon just because sons of AVM Chettiar.

Absolutely a real treat and treasure of Shri AVM Kumaran's (with a personal and unassuming kind sharing with an astonishing memory..) natural and a casual way of sharing his experience of decades in the film industry was awesome and like watching a movie in private with Mr CV Rajendran's seamless prompting and questioning..👏 A very rare experience indeed.. 👌Thanks so much.. 🙏The music interest in him is a very pleasant surprise especially, fixing and finalising the "Rajavin Paarvai.." song melody after trying finally with a Piano arrangement..then "Andha Naal Gnyabagam.." song with a different treatment in a park walking (like you have frankly admitted as a clue borrowed from an English film)..then "Avalukkenna Azhagiya Mugam.." song of heavy music and TMS singing for Nagesh..then "Love Love Ethanai Azhagu.." song from Adhe Kangal* movie with a full western flavour using Brass* instruments (which is also your favourite) and made an extended version as liked and suggested by your father Shri AV Meiyappa Chettiar..then your suggestion based on an old movie song the "Katta Vandi Katta Vandi.." suggestion..then introducing child artist Kamal in RAMU* film..then about the senior Music Director Shri Sudhrshanam Avl., on magnanimously admitting and finalising the melody suggested by one of his senior Violinists which got popular..His special mention on the Great Mellisai Mannar Shri MSV for his cool and jovial character is unbiased compliment..👌His frankness in admitting the borrowed tips and clues from English movies for songs and tunes which he suggests to the Music Director is fantastic..A simple and friendly gentleman* we see Mr AVM Kumaran in this lengthy interesting lively interview..👌👏Really a good job Mr CVR.. 👏Warm cheers.. 😊God bless🙏Vaazhga Valamudan🙏
