This is the reason why I want aerith to live, she never meet Cloud after he regains his memories.
After all their time traveling together, she still hadn't met the real Cloud. The date was their only moment really alone together since sector 5. She was probably waiting all that time to tell him. If the remake brings them together on the date again, now that she knows her fate I wonder what it will be like this time?

Here we are, nearly 20 years later, still talking about this game, recreating the music and, in the near future, getting a full remake. A true classic in every sense of the word.
Nicholas Still it was a legendary game, perfect in every way possible, it shaped many people and I'm of those people,, the music in ff7 was what inspired me to become a musician

The remake soundtrack made me cry multiple times. Glad to call some of these musicians in this my friends and colleagues.
sagacityalex I just finished it. I thought it was a total masterpiece. Don’t know if it would hit as hard if you weren’t a fan of the original, but the emotional heights it reached for those people that were fans? ...unlike anything I’ve ever seen or felt related to a video game.
And it was just a really fun game.
I am still hoping one day we get Final Symphony 2 a studio recording and release :)
So many easter eggs. My favorite is the Highwind theme peeking through at 2:43
it's a motif for Cloud's theme. Since this is Cloud's date. There are also Tifa and Aerith motifs hidden as well!

I was in the 7th grade when this game was released, stayed up countless hours grinding levels lol, FF7 soundtrack always brings tears to my eyes, so many memories
Absolutely fantastic. I love this piece. It doesn't get nearly as much recognition as it deserves.
I watched this scene yesterday for the first time and I searched for this song because it was so pretty and emotional ❤ the orchestral version really accentuates these points 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Indeed a contemporary masterpiece.
This is really breathtaking. I'm a tiny bit disappointed the arrangement doesn't include the string crescendo that features in the original Interrupted by Fireworks, but it's damn close to perfection.

This is pure heaven...It's giving me chills! The music is like next-level mind-blowing. Huge shoutout to all the arrangers, the orchestra, the conductor, and of course, Nobuo. I can't thank you enough for creating such an incredible masterpiece.

Großartig, ich mag die final Symphony, und vorher auch schon die distant world alben sehr gerne. Besonders wenn FF7 Soundtrack auf diese Weise neu interpretiert wird ist das einfach Hammer.

Didn't do it for me. Too much meandering and too many crescendos which rendered them impotent. It was missing the best elements and sounded more like a Star Wars wedding scene than Cloud and Aeris' special moment together.
Being fair, this’s only a small part of the symphonic movement it’s from, taken out of its context
I respect the effort, but this feels overarranged and misses the intimate feel of the OG.
