Eucalyptus is self prunning. We only recommend active prunning when the branches are big and don't dry and fall off on their own

There are 12 Eucalyptus hybrid clones in Uganda. I am sure we can use trial data to recommend a set of good clones for your area

From research trials, the best spacing for these clones is 3m X 3m. Some "foresters" have adjusted their planting to 4m X 4m. They are avoiding painful experience of thinning
