RimWorld - Genie Only Transhumanist Run | 500% No Pause
Вставка
- Опубліковано 22 вер 2024
- RimWorld played on the hardest difficulty, without pause, against Randy Random, with a theme involved around the Genie Xenotype from Biotech.
This is meant to be a 'FOR FUN' series in which I play a themed run with each of the Xenotypes. In these runs I am only allowed to have colonists of that specific Xenotype. In this case, we're going with Genies.
We are using a mod for an additional Ideology to allow us to be more on theme. Check further below for more info about everything.

RULES
Lean into the Xenotypes theme. In addition, we must research EVERY research, finish EVERY anomaly unlock, capture one of each xenotype, capture one of each animal, then build a ship and bring them back to the company for more study. We'll push a bit harder and probably have quite a few deaths. If all Genie's die we will use the 'Game Over' command as if the company sent three more Genies to finish the job.
We can also 'craft' new Genies if we get the genes to build it as a custom Gene pack. And, of course, we can recruit Genie world pawns that we find.
This RimWorld 1.5 Anomaly playthrough is played against Randy Random, on Losing is Fun difficulty bumped up to 500% (the maximum).
Hope you enjoy this RimWorld Challenge Run!

Bonus Comment for engagement: the lore for the story at the beginning is pretty cool
"We can make new genies if we get the right genes"
Oooooh, Gene-ies, not wish granting spirits. That makes so much more sense...
The starters being a family makes for a good role play story :)
I love genies in Rimworld. This is the themed run I have been waiting for!
Thanks Adam, looking forward to this one 🎉
Glad we're back to more than just neolithic tech!
If babies aren't allowed you can offer your pawns 6 months of maternity leave. It'll be great for morale, and you'll never have to honor it.
LOL I love the backstory/lore for the Genies
Excited for this! Thank you for all your hatd work getting this content out for us, you're doing a fantastc job :)
GENIE: Genetically Engineered Neurons In Engineering
Lets go, been waiting
I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the german word for genius is actually Genie (and the spirit in the bottle is a Dschinn)
Missed the live run since I had to work. Gonna watch it all now. Comment is for the algorithm.
lethal company in rimworld awesome
Some of the lucky clutches in this stream strained the Credulity of the universe... even by Streamer standards 😶
whole colony of delicate wimps will be difficult
For the algorithm👍🏻

Yeyeye
Does all animals include Alphabeavers? I don;'t think I've ever seen a space trader with them.
(also are bugs included in "all animals", or are they a wall?)
Edit: Oh, you covered that later in the stream
I know you said no plans on a sanguophage run, but wont that count as a default xenotype? Or are we just skipping it
he already did a sanguophage run not too long ago so thats probably why he's not doing one for this
Ye it will be kinda redundant
3:41:20 pretty sure it's because dodging an automatic turret is easier when you can just push it away or quickly run to the other side of it
