- WrestleMania: The Album was an album released by World Wrestling Federation Superstars in 1993.
Mike Stock and Pete Waterman (of Britain's famed Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting team) oversaw the project as producers and co-composers for RCA Records, with British A&R executive Simon Cowell serving as the executive producer.The album failed to chart on the US Billboard 200 but reached #10 in the UK.

+WeirdEdz I think it was just made to capitalize on the hit that was WrestleMania III. Heck, the main event match was a team headed by Hogan vs. a team headed by Andre the Giant. Also, Vince apparently threatened PPV providers by not giving them WrestleMania IV if they showed Starrcade '87.
ah the nostalgia! the WWF, back when wrestling was fun. this song both pleases me and saddens me, cause more than half of the men in the original video have either hung up their tights, or are body slamming angels in heaven.

yeah he said he read about Summerslam 92 selling out Wembley Stadium and he had the idea for this album.

It's mad I'm from the UK and never really got that into wrestling or the WWF at the time.
We got a sticker book and watched maybe 2 shows. I remember seeing a WWF sticker on the back of a car and thinking that is the wrong logo.
THEN McDonald's gave away free cassettes that contained massive hits. Except it had this random song and was somehow my favourite.

Because Spotify is fucking awful, really poor quality audio files, adverts constantly, etc. Who actually streams music? Actual fans of music have the highest quality FLAC files and plays songs when they want to play them, when they deliberately put them on the playlist, they don't wait around for a shuffle system or a "radio" function to hopefully come up with the song they want, and they also buy physical media versions of their favourite songs like a vinyl record, or even better (if they can afford it) a reel to reel tape version of their favourite songs and albums.

Also, the Excellence of Execution was far from the top by the time this album dropped, and Mean Gene would peace out a couple of months later. What a great way to start the New Generation Era, am I right?@@hezamachine
