The Vinyl Gods spread their loving joy upon all of us at one time or another. It looks like they have blessed you finally. Nice essential classic albums. Congratulations getting that great box especially with them being in such fine shape. The Alan Parsons "Turn of a Friendly Card" and Chicago VII are two of my favorites from those artists. Chicago VII starts off with the entire first side and about half of the 2nd side as instrumentals and may take a few listens to appreciate, but, overall, I consider that one as one of their best. Nice score!
I auditioned for a band the other night (Moody Blues tribute as it happens) and upon leaving the rehearsal studio I lost my way to the road exit and stumbled over a box of vinyl sitting there amid a huge illegal flytipping dumpoff. Half was the usual 22 Solid Gold Great Smash Hits garbage but oh my god the other half.. mint UK originals of Soft Machine 'Bundles', John McLaughlin debut, Fanny Hill, Joni Mitchells first two LPs, Jackson 5, Ohio Players, Smith Perkins Smith, Mandingo, Laura Nyro, Buffy Sainte Marie, The Shadows, Sarah Vaughan... I confess I did not enjoy schlepping it home along with all my already heavy bass gear but it is a great feeling saving gems like this from the landfill.
Nice to be in the right place at the right time! Well done.
Great albums no filler!

Thanks for watching. I’m looking forward to taking a deep dive into some of the albums I’m not as familiar with.
