My hutch is a Slightly Rednecked design and I stacked a bunch of wood pallets on the open side and finished it with 2 straw bales as an insulation/windbreak. Also some bags of tree leaves. I just have a small opening on the door and the back should be ok concerning wind since the garage is a couple feet from its back.
Sounds great! Chris did a good job designing his hutch, they work great. The one in the video was originally built to hold a rabbit but then turned quail house.
I’ve used feed bags in the past! Smart way to save $$ for sure! Dis my rabbits last weekend with the same plastic and staple idea but now with the temperatures we have coming Thursday night here in WI I’m trying to think of more ways to insulate for them !

Are you looking for ideas for insulating the rabbits more or quail?
Should have left words in the inside would give the quail something to read when they are board .
