So sorry for your experience with the vandalism! On the bright side... your garden must be outstanding for admirers to lose self-control to take what they want😢 Don't lose faith, just keep doing what you do best! We're here to support you!!❤
I gave my son a coreopsis plant for his small entryway and someone actually dug it up and took it. I don’t know where people think this is ok to do. Glad you got a picture of her. Hope she gets shamed by it.
I have never heard of a bee home. A video about it would be fantastic! The garden is looking amazing! Sorry about the flower snatcher. Picking one or two flowers is one thing, but wiping out an entire salvia plant is just mean! She should know better!
Gorgeous garden and I can’t believe the nerve of that person cutting flowers you put your blood sweat and tears into growing and nurturing glad you have it on camera. I would put a sign up saying feel free to enjoy the beauty, anyone who is cutting or taking plants are on camera and will be prosecuted for stealing. Should stop them!
I love your gardens and you are a wealth of information on plants! I just have my first elephant ear plant and hope to grow them like you in the summer.
I just love your garden. So peaceful. It’s too bad about your salvia. Some people probably don’t have a clue about being respectful. Would love to see a video of the bee house.
This year I didn’t bother starting my elephant ears in pots, just planted right in the ground with some slow release fertilizer. They required no care, since I planted them when we were getting rain. I didn’t water during the hottest and driest days and they looked amazing, even in a good bit of sun. Repeating every year!
One time I overheard a mommy telling her kid it was ok to take just a couple daffodils as the strolled past my front garden. Gotta love when parents teach stealing🙄
The garden looks amazing despite the theft. I arrived home to find a woman yanking out some of my phlox trying to get a rooted piece. She wasn’t even out on the sidewalk, she was in the fenced front yard!! She was very apologetic but such nerve! Love the bee house and would love a video on the subject.
Super beautiful. Could you maybe make a pretty sign nearby to let pedestrians know to enjoy but also respect the garden (no cutting, smelling is ok)…or something?
Love seeing your garden. That snow on the mountain is so pretty! Do you have to trim back after flowering and if so, does it leave a big hole? So sad about the person not respecting your beauty!
Sidewalk garden is gorgeous. I really like the Pennisetum; it adds such a beautiful texture, but I get that you don't want it overspreading. Sorry that you had theft, hope it only happens rarely.
Your gardens and patio are so beautiful! I'm so sorry about the theft😢. At about 15:46, there are pretty purple flowers over to the left; are those phlox? Thank you for sharing your experiences 😊
It is hard to believe the audacity of some people, to think they are entitled to cut someone's flowers! Thanks for the idea of partially filling a container with compost materials--I use so much potting soil over the course of a season!
@yulia This is so beautiful!! Thanks for sharing your spaces with us. Is your patio full shade or will those plants do well in a sunny patio space? Always looking for patio container ideas for full sun in same planting zone. How are the fish in your pond doing this year? It has been so hot and humid here. Hello from NJ 🪴
Depends on the spot on the patio, hydrangeas get about six hours, the rest about a three, we lost many fish to a heron this spring 😭 time to repopulate
So sorry to hear about the flower snatcher 😢. Question: I have several limelight Prime hydrangeas that were in too much shade. I moved them this spring but the stems are still not able to support the blooms, which are lying on the ground. Should I prune back the weak stems (almost all of them) or will they grow stronger with time, now that they are in the sun?? When would you recommend pruning to increase stalk strength? Thanks so much for your wonderful content. Your channel is so peaceful and I always learn new things.
Fabulous tour sista!!!❤️❤️❤️ Can’t believe someone would steal from your garden….thats f*ck’d up!!!! 🤬🤬🤬 Definitely wanna see a video on the bee house…it’s adorable in the yard!!! ❤️🐝🐝🐝
Where is the mountain mint? I saw it last year in the sidewalk garden but not this year. I got seed in the fall and winter sowed it and it’s growing in the garden now, was curious as to how yours was looking since it’s older.
Does the euphorbia get eaten by anything? It’s exactly what I need in my garden and I’m going to grow it next year, unless deer or rabbits eat it. I have the tender annual dark variegated euphorbia in pots and they’ve been eaten 😭
She should be ashamed of herself 😮. She won't be. Maybe a knock on your door, ask for a quick tour and a few clippings. Bring you a thank you card later.
Can’t help but wonder IF the VANDALIZER is a follower, or if a follower recognizes her…..hope she’s embarrassed, knowing she was caught on camera and is UA-cam famous, for the WRONG reason!
The garden is looking beautiful! I love both areas:) Sad you had someone doing anything to your garden. The rabbits, gophers and deer are bad enough, but random strangers?!?
That is a fantastic stand of Joe Pye Weed. Do you do the Chelsea Chop on it? I didn’t catch the name of the light pink phlox near the beginning when you were discussing the black and blue salvia. I’m sorry you had a plant thief.
I love love your garden! 😍 And I’m so grateful that you use Latin names, so I can check it up to buy seeds or plants here in my country. About Euphoria Marginata, they are perennial in your zone 7 right? Here in Sweden they are sold as annual, but I live on the island Gotland which is the warmest zone there is in the country, and often I find typical annuals surviving here. I would say I’m living in US zone 6b-7. So thank you for your videos, I’ve helped a lot of friends using your series about garden planning and landscaping, growing plants from seeds and cuttings using it in my own garden and customers too. ❤
I can’t believe someone will act like that!!! If I see a beautiful garden, I will want to talk to the owner for advice, but not to act like that! Even, I remember few years ago a guy was cutting magnolia flowers from the neighborhood trees, because his wife was sick and she loved then, and before taken them, he asked for permission and owners were glad to help…. BTW, your garden is sooo beautiful!!!❤
It doesn't reseed, unfortunately I don't remember the exact cultivar. had it for 15 years. There are other wildish types that reseed everywhere! I pulled those out.
Never thought of planting Alocasia Polly outside. I am now propagating corms, thought I would give some away; but I will keep the plants to put outside next year.
You have beautiful gardens! Sorry to hear about your garden thief. I get upset when neighbors walk their dogs and let them pee in my garden. I even asked politely for them not to, but they still do!
Stealing flowers is criminal behavior, malicious mischief. You might alert your neighbors about this woman though perhaps their gardens are not as lovely as yours.
Your patio garden is so incredibly beautiful! You’re so right about not needing flowers here because of all the texture. I’m so sorry that person stole your salvia! I know how excited I get when I see something finally bloom and to have it taken away by an inconsiderate person is heartbreaking. Hope she stays away.
So sorry for your experience with the vandalism! On the bright side... your garden must be outstanding for admirers to lose self-control to take what they want😢

Thank you! 🥹
Yes we would love to see a separate video on the bee house! Your garden is lovely and I'm sorry about the loss.
Beautiful! I always love the majesty of your elephant ears, towering gracefully over the garden.
I gave my son a coreopsis plant for his small entryway and someone actually dug it up and took it. I don’t know where people think this is ok to do. Glad you got a picture of her. Hope she gets shamed by it.

Great suggestion!

Yes, so rude!
I doubt a sign will stop someone like her. Some people are just nasty. I don't think that was actually an old lady. Just a rotten soul.
You need to put up a sign that says --- Smile You Are On Candid Camera ... !!!
I just can't get enough of that patio garden !!!🤩🤩🤩
Your sidewalk garden is gorgeous.
I love your gardens and you are a wealth of information on plants! I just have my first elephant ear plant and hope to grow them like you in the summer.
I could see a child picking flowers, but that old lady should know better.
Yes!!!!!!😢
Exactly 😞
Everything is magnificent ❤ so many ideas and inspirations. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much! 😊
I just love your garden. So peaceful. It’s too bad about your salvia. Some people probably don’t have a clue about being respectful. Would love to see a video of the bee house.
Thank you!
Your gardens are always gorgeous! ❤ Thank you for sharing over the years. I love it but am sorry to hear of the plundering.
Thank you so much!

Beautiful garden!
I’d be very interested in the bee house❤
One time I overheard a mommy telling her kid it was ok to take just a couple daffodils as the strolled past my front garden. Gotta love when parents teach stealing🙄
Please explain the bee box. Sorry about the thief. Put up a sign that says enjoy but do not touch maybe
oh my gosh - my salvia have been sooooo slow this year too, Seattle here. I always get a full two bloom flushes but not this year. What the heck?!
Same!!
The garden looks amazing despite the theft. I arrived home to find a woman yanking out some of my phlox trying to get a rooted piece. Beautiful job, thanks for sharing!
LOVELY!
Gorgeous!!,❤
Thank you! 😊
Your sidewalk garden is beautiful as always! I just fell in love with your patio garden❤❤❤. Have a nice day! - Evita
Thank you!
Super beautiful. Could you maybe make a pretty sign nearby to let pedestrians know to enjoy but also respect the garden (no cutting, smelling is ok)…or something?
That's a good idea
Beautiful!
Love seeing your garden. That snow on the mountain is so pretty! Do you have to trim back after flowering and if so, does it leave a big hole? So sad about the person not respecting your beauty!
Stunning!! I need the mint (?) you're growing. It's too bad you have to remove the grass (can't remember the name). It's beautiful.
Yes, Laura phlox
It is hard to believe the audacity of some people, to think they are entitled to cut someone's flowers! Thanks for the idea of partially filling a container with compost materials--I use so much potting soil over the course of a season!
It works so well!

Yes, definitely prune thin stems. I prune late winter and early spring 😊
Fabulous tour sista!!!❤️❤️❤️
Can’t believe someone would steal from your garden….thats f*ck’d up!!!! 🤬🤬🤬
Definitely wanna see a video on the bee house…it’s adorable in the yard!!! ❤️🐝🐝🐝
Thank you! It’s so cool and I can see the bee’s adorable faces there every day 🥹
That’s so awesome!!!!

Thank you!
What do you think of culture root plant ?
Does the euphorbia get eaten by anything? It’s exactly what I need in my garden and I’m going to grow it next year, unless deer or rabbits eat it. I have the tender annual dark variegated euphorbia in pots and they’ve been eaten 😭
Was your thief digging up the plants, or cutting flowers?
Cutting. She was prepared, brought a box and everything!
Give me one peac
She should be ashamed of herself 😮. She won't be. Maybe a knock on your door, ask for a quick tour and a few clippings. Bring you a thank you card later.
Exactly! I would have been happy to give her cuttings
Can’t help but wonder IF the VANDALIZER is a follower, or if a follower recognizes her…..hope she’s embarrassed, knowing she was caught on camera and is UA-cam famous, for the WRONG reason!
💚Just beautiful beautiful beautiful Yulia. Thank you for sharing your garden full of joy and peace. 💐
The garden is looking beautiful! I love both areas:) Sad you had someone doing anything to your garden. The rabbits, gophers and deer are bad enough, but random strangers?!?
I know right?
I’m so sorry, what a terrible experience for you!! Your garden is lovely and you are generous to share your creativity with all of us.
Your patio garden is simply serenity 😊 As for that lady… that stealing is on her soul until she does something positive to reverse that act
Beautiful garden Y!
You need a No Trespassing sign !
That is a fantastic stand of Joe Pye Weed. Do you do the Chelsea Chop on it? I didn’t catch the name of the light pink phlox near the beginning when you were discussing the black and blue salvia. I’m sorry you had a plant thief.
Here in Spain we NEVER have anything outside, no one respects others´ properties.. and they won’t cut, they’ll dig up the plant 😩
I love love your garden! 😍 And I’m so grateful that you use Latin names, so I can check it up to buy seeds or plants here in my country.

Annual everywhere as far as I know ☺️
Beautiful!
looks amazing! thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Stunning! Absolutely beautiful 🌼🐝
Thank you! 😊

The garden looks so beautiful! Upsetting to see someone stealing from your garden. 😠
Sorry about the thief😢
Just a beautiful garden video. I was wondering how you keep your tall Joe Pye weed in check. Mine has overtaken a lot of my garden. 😊
It doesn't reseed, unfortunately I don't remember the exact cultivar. had it for 15 years. There are other wildish types that reseed everywhere! I pulled those out.
Absolutely stunning!
How do you not get the summer bugs in your home when you being in the pots from outside?
Insecticidal soap 😊
Never thought of planting Alocasia Polly outside. I am now propagating corms, thought I would give some away; but I will keep the plants to put outside next year.
You have beautiful gardens! Sorry to hear about your garden thief. I get upset when neighbors walk their dogs and let them pee in my garden. I even asked politely for them not to, but they still do!
That is rude of the neighbors. Could you plant something the dogs wouldn't like the smell of? Garlic or green onions🤔
Dogs are an issue too, but people are way worse 😣
Stealing flowers is criminal behavior, malicious mischief. You might alert your neighbors about this woman though perhaps their gardens are not as lovely as yours.
So, so lovely! Your garden gives me great joy. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! She took an entire box of flowers when we realised that’s what happen 😞
so nice!
13:16 thank you!
