I wish they made ATV and UTV tires wider after they get to 32" tall I'd like them to still be available at 12-14" wide to be able to sit and float on top of some of the mud I have Wide tires are the only ones that will cross it due to how deep it is

    Osta, just a shot in the dark here, but what about making some sort of aluminum a-frame boom type thing that you could pin onto the back of the Sherp (think 70's-80's era tow truck) so the guys could winch to a higher point ? Then they'd be hopefully breaking the suction of the skeg instead of pushing through it. Something that'd go on with hitch pins, fold flat to the back of the rig when not in use...

    Out of curiosity, once the Sherp has plowed through something like this, does it leave the path too churned up for the others to get through? Or does it push some "fill" into the path so others can go further than before? Or no difference, really?

      Thanks for the answer! But do not you think it's too much? Maybe this information will be useful: In mud the recommended pressure is 30-40 mm Hg and below. For example, this video shows the dependence of the passability on the pressure 2, 1 and 0,5 psi
      ua-cam.com/video/BuvQAIP_F00/v-deo.html. In this video man say: "as much as possible lower the pressure and try on different gear 1,2,3" ua-cam.com/video/9CHAOiww1x8/v-deo.html

    I'm still waiting for the Sherp to show up at the Bounty Hole, Pipe Line, Mud Nationals or any event where typically NO 4 X 4's make a full pull. 1 showed up at the River Run - Mardi Gras event but just floated around in the pond...thats a boat. How about a bit more of what we just saw, only 30 yds. wider and 6 ft. deep...then I'll give it a thumbs up.

    • @DanKoning777
      @DanKoning777 6 років тому

      AEI...I've seen it. If you've read what I said in my other posts, its about this very video. The Sherp can get to the sides and then get traction where he wouldn't be able to at the Bounty Hole (or the like), just like the other 4x4's. I want to see it challenged in the same stuff the 4x4 trucks are in, NOT that the toy quads are in. This is like and NBA team playing on a high school teams court.

    • @MrLockdownbg
      @MrLockdownbg 6 років тому +2
