When it comes to knives and machetes, it's always a matter of personal taste. Some prefer to use something like the SoloBolo to kill two birds with one stone. Perhaps, because they only foresee limited need for a separate knife and a full sized machete. Or, I suppose, it is because they might not want to use a full sized machete, due to its weight or that they lack the requisite strength, stamina, dexterity and skill necessary to properly employ it. For which ever reason, the SoloBolo seems to fit that particular niche rather well, at that price point. Thanks for the review, Pastor Joe.

I love my solobolo, i took the powder coating off mine and polished it. It's a gorgeous knife once you can see the lines.

Impressive knife seems to be a good chopper. I just did a review on 6 big knifes including the one I ordered the Condor Kukri. I should have looked at this one closer.

This was a great video, and then at the end of your video I laughed and laughed when you said, " I'm not busting cinder bricks with it, I'm not cracking through concrete because I'm not going to do that with a knife. to funny. A great review Pastor Joe Fox. :)

Not a bad knife for the price. Pretty handy.

So far excellent; please continue with how you would rank against your other knives and for those people who for whatever reason will only buy a knife or two - does it make the cut as the 'only big knife' in the kit. A sharpening video would also be well received, I believe.

Good video. Any knife can be sharp out of the box. I want to see a "six month review" without any sharpening until then.

Maybe you could make a video of the best way to sharpen that monster knife. Great video as always. :)

best thing... Turkey Tail (probably) mushrooms on that log. not great for eats, but perfect for powders and extracts for medicine.
