The pack weight is so wierd. One time im packing special cards left and right and then all of the sudden the 84x10 is an all rare gold.

The actual level of greediness and pure hate ea has over us is incredible. Its fkin august and the new game comes in a month. Yet these money grabbing gambling addicting rats cant let us have fun. They mostly give us mid sbcs and the pack weight is absolutely horrendous. I still havent packed a card over 200k in over 3 weeks. I also have got nothing by so many guaranteed sbcs. Pathetic

Only good thing about "this grind" is that i finished butra and etoo but that only happened cause i had tons of fodder that i kept cause of the fodder sbcs they were releasing the past month, plus im a madrid fan so i want them for my PnP.

There is a TOTS provisions pack with 2 TOTS in the store for 100k or 500 fc points. The prices of TOTS made that pack viable. Pure greed!

This tots or totw conversation is the same one from last year. No supply, high demand. So stock up on tots cards because when the 84x10, 85x10 and icon sbc are repeatable even more times they will be crazy expensive. And even with more tots/totw in packs it's not like we will be packing them that often. How many tots, of the around 48 cards in pack right now, over the last week have you packed a tots? It's not many.
You can also use Gold Team of the Week cards instead of TOTS cards… the Gold TOTW cards can also be crafted unlimited.
It is 100% doable to do every sbc without buying cards off the market - however I’ve done it for about a week whilst on a work trip and it’s hours of the day gone
Even by EA standards this is just so greedy - we're in August guys! Just lose the TOTY/TOTW requirements on the 84x10 and let us have a little fun without constantly being nudged towards the store because they still want us to give them even more money. It's making the grind really tedious and more of a chore now. :/
I’m on my farewell tour with this game franchise/company, and they are making it VERY easy for me to say goodbye permanently and move on to a new hobby. Thanks EA!
Really have no interest to play the silver cup. Packed so many 93+ players and just want to try them in game instead of sweating with 11 silvers.... weird decision by EA really.

They could just remove tots and totw and state you need a card ovr 90 or something similar. Other main issue for me is pack weight. I've not had a top line futties at all since the start. First week was okay but right now I've just stopped opening packs for now as I know I'm not getting anything just the same handful of cards over and over

Beo eto challenge requires 15 tots card and that's actually so annoying I mean the grind itself for him is hard and they are making it worse with these requirements

The amount of tots/totw required not only makes them more money, but it also makes people spending more time on the game/menus. The packweight for me has been terrible, like other promos the top 7 to 8 players of every team are impossible to get. Benzema is still the best futties card I've packed.
I have no idea why tots cards are that expensive. I have like 30 totw's and never go low with the way the grind is atm.

They nerfed the fuckin pack weight. I use to get special cards from 77x5 81x2 83x2 .now it’s all gold even 84x10s I’m getting1 special 88 rated . Can’t believe they are doing this when fc24 is just 3_4 weeks left

I think im around 1500-2000 picks in with all the 84x10s 3 elite rewards all the crafting upgrade ect ect ect and my most expensive futties is cech at 150k💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 the worst futties ever not even close
The 81+ has been god awful, did not pack a single futties from it, not even the inexpensive ones
Pack luck is so bad, I returned because the good vibes of Futties yet, it is disappointing ... for EA, I wish to think even from marketing perspective, increase the engagement now by making the pack luck much better and easy SBCs, even make last week with crazy idea like chose any 3 players and have them in your team .. just last week before FC25 so I will be ready and engaged and willing to buy and spend and grind ... for EA, I wish to look to the future given the coming competition from other companies instead of looking short sighted under your feet only
Even when I have 10+ 84x10s I’m never exited to open them anymore. More dreading the fact I know it’s all going to be duplicates which are annoying to constantly deal with or just a full rare gold sack of shait. So repetitive and boring, 4k away from Haaland too, but I feel like I’ll stop playing straight after I get him done anyways 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
The real problem with fc24 is the game rules. Example, I'm 0-3 down in champs, other guy pauses trying to force me to quit, only to bring it back to 3-3 within that half. He then rage quits getting his point, I'm left with nothing, but a wasted life lol. Pointless playing the game when this happens, and it happens a lot !

I dont know about others but i had a blast playing the cup. Its how i feel the game should be. You can actually buildup creatively and have fun without a handful of 99 pace players pressing you immediately

Totally agree. Totw or tots should not be a requirement at all in august. I play less now than I would only because my time is swallowed up doing sbcs. Its got to the point of me just not caring now and just playing with what I have in my club. Even with over 1500 packs it feels like work to keep opening everything and doing the sbcs needed. On old gen the menus are just all painfully slow….perhaps its time to switch games and actually have some fun now, there is only 5-6 weeks left so doubt with the greed EA have I would be missing much….

@@IceBreakBottle how? Unless your spending time opening packs and doing the sbcs to get either totws or tots then that is time taken away from just playing the game. Just doing the 84x10 and 85x10 needs 6 tots or totws daily. They are not readily packable as some may assume. Its just tiring to do every day for a game in an end cycle.

Is everyone forgetting how bad the first 4 weeks of futties was last year man first 2 batches lasted 4 weeks and both didn’t have tots
batch 2 had team of the weeks but they were really rare for no reason even more rare than packing a tots in this current batch I remember being unable to even complete my daily 84 x 10s last year because it was impossible to get totw or seasons and didn’t have coins
If you remeber, they required Tots or shapeshifters... We had lots of both and they didn't require this many tots cards, we also didn't have 20 squad sbcs this early.
@@davidajayi1207 nope I struggled as I stopped playing the game weeks before tots so didn’t have any saved up and since they weren’t in batches I was unable to complete things easily until week 5 batch 3 which unlocked unlimited 84 x 10s and tots in packs this Tim around we got tots in packs week 1 of futties which is great I don’t see the complaints about tots if you just spend a small amount of time grinding 82+ player picks you see them pretty often I always have a surplus
@@davidajayi1207 also Ronaldinho released around this point during futties ( I’m 90% sure it was around week 3 but don’t quote me on that) which was a massive expensive sbc so I don’t really get your point about 20 squad sbcs

Hey Nate just curious about the following situation and if you have experience with that. I started to play back in november of last year. I am by far not a great player but I learned a lot. I built a decent team due to a lot of grinding the menues, playing a lot and doing my daily routines. There are a lot of difficult situations and just plain stupid decisions EA made or caused even for me as a newbie. But now to the point. I have a 98 rated squad now and can only upgrade my squad if a huge SBC is dropped. I cannot pack a single high rated card since the beginning of TOTT, due to grinding the menue a lot I open a lot of packs and open every lower rated fodder-futties card really frequently but I am not able to pack a single 99 rated card. Is EA punishing me for playing the game daily and spending hours in the game? Or is it just a case of a too good of a team too fast? I really dont believe in a coincidence anymore because it happens for about 6 weeks now. I know that this sounds like whining on a high level but I am always in Team "if you work hard, you should get rewarded the proper way" Maybe you have a good advice for me what I can change? Besides that thank you for the awesome content and keep up the good work. All the Best.

Last week was much easier because of the Best of batch 2 player pick....very high rate of TOTS and only 1 squad
They realized that it gave out alot of Tots and they were like, we cant have that hence, they didn't release it

The 84x 10 pack weight is horrible right now. I only pack one special card, the rest are all 84s and some 85s. I packed 99 Ronaldo from 81+, so I am happy for the rest of the year, but still

I really don't get why people need tots. I have 117 Tots players in the club and 40+ if's. And I have completed all player and all icons sbc's. It's easy to grind exchange to totw picks and player sbc's

Just do TOTW PPs using fodder from 89 exchanges, takes time but means you’re not spending money
I think that's the issue... it's how much time is needed. We're in August and we're all spending more time grinding the menus than actually playing the game itself.

I really don't agree with the tots take. They shouldn't stop puting tots/totw sbcs because there's a free totw pick sbc that you can do. You only buy tots totw from the market if you're stupid/lazy, I'm sorry
We're in August though! The next game is about to drop and you're defending them still having TOTS/TOTW as SBC requirements. This time last year we were getting repeatable x10 84s and x10 85s and without needing TOTS/TOTW. It's pure greed from EA trying to milk every last drop out of a game on it's way out.
I might grind a little but at this point there’s no way I’m spending over an hour a day grinding (maybe once a week) and that’s what it would take to truly do these SBCs. So I know the grind is “endless” now but I’m not packing the 98+ players anyways so it’s just not worth the time.

There is an Evolution where you can get Rudiger 96 futties that can play cam and Cb

Totw been dirt cheap all year. With paletools i could craft 10 super easy so i didnt have to use my tots. Im tired of these vets creating new accounts and whooping us in lower divisions.
Usually agree with you but this is a bad take, all you need to do is craft team of the weeks . It’s pretty simple
It's still very time consuming and a drain on fodder. I think if we were still back in Jan/Feb then you could argue it should be that way - but we're in August now.

For me, I just put a little bit of the golds I get from exchanges into TOTW player picks. They work fine for rating, and plus it gives coins, I've personally earned over 1 million coins from just quick selling all of the TOTW player pick packs (and other tradable packs from player SBCs).

How is it when the pack grind is unlimited & they require totw or tots? We have unlimited totw picks. This isn't a dig btw & i'm probably being stupid 😅
I think it's more that we're in August and the grind feels way too tedious. Last year we had repeatable 84x10 and 85x10 coming through with no TOTS/TOTW requirements. Made for a fun last few weeks before this game turned up.
