I appreciate you still making content for the FZ6R! It’s rare finding people that make content and mod videos for our super cool bikes.
Gotta take care of our Fizzer fam! 👊😎
I noticed my fz6r with clipons using the stock throttle assembly is only a 120mm grip. Is that the same size for you?
Yes Sir that is correct. 120mm is the factory grip length, and that's what you see here.
Tooooootally not worth the cost. If you don't have a wife or girlfriend, don't get one just for this.
There’s a joke in there somewhere… 🤔
Cool. Always wondered how those worked. Im rocking the Puig thread in ones with the stock bars.
I’m gonna try and shoot a quick review vid today on the bike to follow up on this setup. It’s impressive!
Thanks for your comment because I was wondering what's going on with my handlebars when I went to change them and I had the threaded plugs.
Where did you get the pillion cowl from? Makes the bike look so much nicer
These were only produced by GYTR for a few years back when the bike was still in production. The only way to get them nowadays is via private sale. You can find them on eBay once or twice every few years. Very rare item.
Where did you get the rear seat cover
Got lucky and bought it off a private seller. They were discontinued long ago.
did the bar ends help with the vibrations ?
Yes, they work as advertised. 👍
The blue is a very close match and gives Evelyn a nice colour match all over. I guess the next step is to take her out for a ride to see if there is a difference in the “buzzieness”.
My Fizzer is a 2010 and the grips and ends are also originals and are due for replacement to give her a spritz up.
Haha yeah I installed the dang things and then just went back inside to edit. Might vlog the results and report back. Hey you should definitely pull the trigger on some grips… they’re cheap and effective!
Just another tip that I have used before when changing grips, takes a bit more messing around and for some maybe adds too much weight. I've actually filled my entire bar with bird shot. Got that tip a long, long time ago but I can't remember where. It definitely kills any kind of buzzing through the bars, probably wouldn't add too much more weight to clipons and be an easier job than a set of factory OEM's.
Fascinating concept right there! 🤯
I'll be starting my woodcraft clip on job with the bar ends and grips this week and had some questions about the grips. with the "throttle body"/accelerator for some people what's the assembly I should be looking for when attaching the right grip. Is it a rotating tube type assembly or nothing out like an MT07 for a gear based assembly. I felt like I've answered myself but don't want to be wrong. removing the accessories is the easiest part for what I've seen from replacement videos. Appreciate the guides and fizzer friday's from the "bible of the fizzer" my buddy said that after getting his fizzer.
Hey dude, the throttle tube is a traditional rotating type with dual cable actuation. Just like on a dirt bike. You can see its function in my throttle cable swap video here:

@@HalfClickUp as always amazing instruction let you know if it goes well tomorrow
@@clym0re good luck! Lemme know if you need any guidance.
@@HalfClickUp everything went perfectly on there. levers and all are level and comfortable. as a 5'5 man im leaned over and ready for those rearsets
@@clym0re that’s good to hear! Pulling the trigger on rearsets will be next level, I guarantee ya 😉
Hello got a question for you, If you ever get a chance to make a video Or just talk about it on how to tighten and loosen the steering on the FZ6R please do so. Thanks again for your instructional videos:]
Hey Gary, the steering tightness is not meant to be adjustable. If your steering is too tight or loose feeling, then you likely need new steering head bearings.
I been looking at getting bar end mirrors for my fizzer that use the same friction based expanding rubber from a local shop, rather than another pair I've seen that use the threaded ends. Just wondering how well that expanding rubber is holding up for you, has your bar ends ever come loose through vibration of the bike at all? Just wanna know your opinion. Cheers bud.
Well these were installed on 1/29/22, so I literally have no experience with them yet. You guys will be the first to know if they act weird, though! 👍
By adding mass out there at the end you drop the natural frequency of not only the bar, but of the entire steering head assembly, too. That makes head shake, or death wobble, a lot less likely. How much weight do those add anyway?
They’re 4.5 ounces each. The slider pucks are replaceable, too, which is neato burrito.
Do your clip ons restrict how far you can turn?
The 1.5” kit affects full wheel lock by a quarter inch.
First!!! 👋 Hello 🦖🤪
Yooooooo Dorkasaurus REX! 😬👌
Keep up the good work.
