i really want to be an aesthetic nurse in CA but I am not too interested in Botox and filler. I want to do micro-needling, skincare, laser, and peels. i want to see a patient, do an in-depth consultation, and create a custom plan - that might involve a laser and a peel and products for continued results and upkeep. i basically want to do skincare but still have access to treatments that go past the dermis when needed to create the best results. i feel like skincare nurse and injector should be two different kinds of aesthetic RNS because to be a great injector that should be your specialty. especially when it comes to filler.
I 100% agree, I’m an esthetician + electrologist starting nursing school. I literally just want to combine aesthetics and nursing for medical grade facials and laser treatments. Maybe a little filler for facial balancing. I agree, Botox and fillers should be a specialty
@@asiansfwSo we have to finish the collage for nursing than to do aesthetic course for this job cause I want too for skin treatments and not just for botox and filler but I don’t know what to do , this year I’m finishin school and next year I have to be in collage but I’m very stressed out cause I don’t know what to do
@@arbnorakutllovci7971 yes! First get your ASN. Depending on what state you live in, you may or may not be able to do injections as an RN. Then seek injections training! You’re young, don’t stress. Just get started.
Hello Nurse Sabrina. I'm a Filipino Nurse and currently I applied as a Aesthetic Nurse in Aesthetic Clinic here in the Philippines. I have an ongoing application in NYSED I was thinking if this experience could help me to get into Aesthetic job in NYC once I passed my NCLEX exam. Or do I still need a bed side experience? Thank you!
Hi Sabrina, I wanted to ask if you have any knowledge or information regarding an accelerated BSN program? I decided to make a career switch and since I have my BS already, I learned that I can do an accelerated BSN program. Do you have any thoughts/info that you can share if you know anything about accelerating programs? I really want to get into this industry but definitely nervous since I have no experience and have to go back to school
Can you discuss an estimate of your salary if you're comfortable? I'm really curious how different it is from bedside nursing. I was making 26 an hour doing bedside nursing and then after a few years it went up to 29 an hour.
I mentioned it a little in my ‘How I Became an Aesthetic Nurse’ video but basically in the hospital, I started out at around $30/hour. I’m making 4x that now, mind you I work in a city and at a well established Plastic Surgery office! Starting out, I wasn’t making that much, but now I’m fully booked.
3 offers with no experience? This a woman of great quality!
ahhh thank you phillip!!!
More interview questions. I was so happy to hear that you did lashes as well. I took a class and I'm perfecting my lashing currently.
Thanks for your tips! I'd love to know about the interview questions you were presented with. Keep being awesome. ✨
I love your account, thank you for sharing this!!

Love this!! It would be great to have an interview questions video.
I’d love to know some interview question tips!
I live in Texas and I had no idea you could be an injector without a RN license. That's absolutely terrifying! 😳 Our state is so wild.
More interview questions please!
Can you go over resume tips?
I hear that National Laser Institute is the gold standard for certification in Aesthetic nursing. Do you find this to be true? Thanks!
