Ive had my 555 Trap for a couple years now. Im a casual trap shooter and have no complaints. Im a bigger guy and the light weight doesn't effect me at all. Im quite happy with mine.
I have the Stevens 555 field gun. The lighter weight is nice in the field chasing pheasant and grouse. A lot more walking and lot less shooting than a sporting clays range. It handles well and for me patterns very close to my sporting clays Browning 725.
Great review. Thanks for posting. I'm looking at getting a 555 and I found a used one but it didn't have the adjustable comb or ported barrels. I'm gonna keep looking.
I have the 555E with beautiful wood. Selective ejectors vs extractors on the base model. The gun is fine except in very cold weather when the trigger won't fire. It comes with a set off stock for right handers.
This is the first time I've heard of something like that happening. How cold are you talking? I'm in the market for an O/U right now and the 555E and the CZ Drake seem to be the two I'm considering the most.
Well done . From some of the comments it sounds as though you have stronger shoulders than half the dudes out there😅 Also from some of the comments it sounds as though you need to do a competitive shooters' hairstyles episode.
I think the young lady did great. I think your hair look great. The gun review was truthful I'm seriously thinking about getting one. Thank you for your honest gun review.
Hi there, lloking for shotgun for sister in law, for turkey. So to the question what are the "specs" of the reviewer? LOL. my A.I.L is tiny to say the least. the reviewer appears small as well. not to be rude, but was wonder what her height, weight and LOP are at the time of this video?
I do not own an over/under but am interested in clay shooting. I appreciate the review, particularly as a novice. How about a comparison to others? Mossberg International, Weatherby?
I'm new to clay shooting and recently picked up a Weatherby Orion 12ga with a 26" barrel. It's an awesome gun... very well built with beautiful walnut furniture, and it's got some heft to it (7lbs) which helped with the recoil. The balance is perfect making it easy to track your target in mid-air. I highly recommend it as a first over/under.
@@robedwards4636 you’ll have less issues with CZ then literally any other Turkish made gun. Plus if you have an issue like I did. No questions asked brand new gun two weeks later. Now 7000 shells without one failure of any sort.
I own a Savage Stevens O/U 12 Gauge Shotgun for which I bought new in the early 1970s for $200.00.Nothing fancy,no top rib,no auto ejectors.I loved it when I bought it and I love it now.I still own it .Oh I forgot …Walnut Stock.
I have watch hundreds of gun reviews over the years. This is the first video I’ve ever seen where the comments strayed to the presenter’s hair. Sexist much guys? I think there’s other channels you’d enjoy more if you are interested in women’s hairstyles and fashion!
PIECE OF TRASH. I bought one in 28 ga, it was a warranty claim right out of the box: barrel does not fit properly with the receiver and is a safety issue as stated in the suppliers documentation. Customer service was condescending and argumentative, they even laughed. since I bought this to introduce my grandkids to shotgunning, I failed to see the humor. I wouldnt shoot this piece of junk and I sure wouldnt let any one I love or care about use it
I swear her hair looks like she just crawled out of bed, didn't wash or brush her hair....I'm sure it's a style that I wouldn't know anything about....I just thought it was funny.

Got a 28 gauge Stevens 555E. No problems. Love it!
Savage is running a rebate on these which is how I found your post. Well done video with great info, will be looking into this further. Thanks!

Excellent review. Hit the high points, concise, to the point and well spoken. Maybe a comparison with the Stoeger condor? Looking for a Dove gun.

Great! Would be nice to see how it compares to other similar budget options
Great review, thank you!!!
You are really good at this. Very confident and comfortable in front of the camera. Nice gun too!

Nice shotgun. Porting and adjustable comb.
Great review, thank you, looking for a shotgun just like this one!
Great review! The Yildiz from Academy Sports are nice as well. Turkish made too of course.
I have a Stevens 555E in 28 gauge, and my buddy John has a Yildiz O/U 12 gauge; both have been great👍🏽
So I guess my CZ for $400. Is a good buy then since it’s like new
I have seen a lot of guys having firing pin problems with the 555
Son is looking at starting trap. He likes the over-under style....would this work for him?
What’s the price range? I’m trying to find an over and under for 500 or less dollars.
is this a competition model? What does the barrel porting do for you? I'd rather not have shiny choke tubes when duck hunting.
Is that a 26 inch barrel or the 30-inch Barrel that you reviewed
Great video
The the woodwork is different from any other 555 Ive seen, both stock and fore
If it weren’t for the heavy trigger pull the Stevens would be a decent starter gun.
What do you think is a good weight?
Can I use this for turkey and duck hunts

@@natetube3004 Thank you very much!
The ported barrels are a no go for me!
For the price and I’ve shot both the CZ guns are a full step if not 2 steps above. The 555 kicks just awful and they don’t hold up to round counts
Which CZ?

Interesting I’ve seen a lot of really bad reviews on CZ which surprises me

Stevens not savage
Stevens was bought by Savage. 1939ish.

I agree 100 percent. It was a great review. If it was done by a bald man would anyone care?
Totally unprofessional comment to say anything about someone's appearance.
$750 to $1000 is hardly budget priced.
For an O/U it is a good price
uh, as opposed to $2k-$20k and up?
not for a stevens@@robedwards4636
Beretta O/U's start at $2500
I think I should mention the Christian Armenian Genocide by the young Turks.
That was over 100 years ago, get over it.
Don't forget the genocide of native Americans facilitated by Winchester and every other American gun maker, putz.
I think I should mention the Native American genocide by the Christian American settlers.
See? It's a pointless comment.
😬😂😂

Lol
