I was lucky enough to borrow a Polaris RZR 1000 Side X Side equipped with a Tent Box hard shell roof top tent! I used the opportunity to tackle some difficult off road terrain to gain quick access to some of the best trout fishing in Utah!
I own a James Baroud and an Auto Home roof top tent and feel that the Tent Box has the simple, comfortable design of the Auto Home and is as good of quality as the James Baroud at about half the price! I like the Tent Box! I slept very well through the mountain storms and set up and take down was easier than either of my hard shell tents.

Of course I cooked up the Brook Trout in my favorite way with dehydrated hash browned potatoes, but this time I followed the fish and potatoes meal up with a two hour+ reverse seared 1 1/2" thick rib eye beef steak using the Firebox Stove burning wood.

One thing I respect and love about your video's... You are a very modest man. Never once have I ever heard you say a word about "use my product" or come "buy this item". You simply use your products in your cool camping video's and let them sell themselves. I actually love what you provide and will be buying items as my budget allows.

Steve, that was 10 minutes of perfection! Once the first fire was lit for coffee, I was fully engaged in the video. Once the rain storm started, I was LOVING it while wearing headphones. The scenery, the weather, the wonderful dogs, and those fire cooked meals (I can almost smell them), edited down to a 10 minute "outdoor fix" was just plain perfect.
Your quick over-nighters are so well thought out, simple, and efficient that I'm always encouraged to keep upping my game. Keep up the great job. I anxiously wait for email alerts.

Pretty slick outfit to get to borrow. That's such a great way to "de-bone" a fish that you keep demonstrating. I've done it with bluegill, too -- sure beats the waste that comes with filleting. And you reminded me to make sure I pack a small cutting board when "car" camping.

re lee You are just fine. I apologize for my confusion on what you were asking. I do have several grills for the Nano that work. You can use the adjustable fire grate (it usually is for the 5" stove), the regular grill plate (for the 5" as well) or the small smoker rack. They all work on the Nano. I hope this helps!!

Nice setup you have there... Coffee, great grub... what else can you ask for? I wouldn't put my down jacket over the coals. Not only can you ruin it, but no oxygen to the fire. I enjoyed it though. Thanks for sharing, take care.

Oh man!!!! I have a Honda Pilot Micro Camper and I think I can go places ... but this takes it to another level. I have got to get a setup like this. Incredible! How much do you think a setup like this would cost? I believe you are the first to take the rooftop tent and use it on a vehicle like this. Livin' in Utah ... I think you live in Utah ... there is an abundance of places to go and also up in Wyoming, Idaho, etc. Cool video!

Hey Steve,This is different from the sort fair your presenting in your video here ,but I thought you’d appreciate the frito pie recipe.First you make Chile and beans (like a wolf brand style or whatever you like) then you throw it on top of Fritos you can even make it in the chip bag if you get the small bags (single serving) then of course cheese.I like mine with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and onions. This is a New Mexico tradition enjoy!
