I don’t think so i use to work at a recycling plant recently and the amount of noise it made was pretty high I don’t know how the neighbors tolerated it and it also would have tons of dust debree go over to the neighbors when we would operate and the epa said it was fine when neighbors would complain about the noise and debree. Especially one house in particular was right next to the shredder that would make annoying high noise and the neighbors hated it as it would also shake the ground and shake their house but after complaints nothing was done. Honestly I think the company paid people off because we had tons of issues yet when inspectors would come in because of complaints they always said it was fine.

No, they are not crying Karen's. The noise from these facilities and from data centers is much worse then even that of bad highway traffic noise. Just the traffic noise and air pollution near freeways is enough to greatly reduce the property values and the desirability of nearby neighborhoods in case you hadn't noticed!
