My partner & I are doing the full route 66 in October and we can't wait. We purchased extra days for texas and 2 of the 5 days are in Armadillo.
When you drive through if you need a bite go to Tyler’s Barbecue, don’t be there too late once they’re out of meat for the day they close.
Home of the Funks
Im born in amarillo❤❤
I live south of Houston. I'm thinking about moving to Amarillo to start over.
amarillo sucks i live there, the mall sucks and everything sucks there
Ignore the other poster. They are just a whiny teenager or twenty-something.
@@omegawimptronic6403I think the malls suck everywhere now

As an Amarillo resident I have to say this. Yes it’s cheap to live here. But job offers aren’t great, the weather is constantly windy, when I mean constant… seriously. You will find dust and dirt absolutely everywhere. we don’t have anything fun to do. Essentially if you move here, you work to live and honestly won’t find much amusement
To anyone who visits Amarillo, actually ask a local what to do and don’t rely on google and these youtube videos
Where is there to visit In Amarillo then
@@Bebegamer nothing, absolute dogshit in Amarillo. Just a mall and stores ... I would say the most interesting thing is wonderland, half ass museums, cinergy that's expensive for some reason, those graffiti cars where the paint you put on falls off within 5 minutes, and that one theater area to watch the nutcracker. Also there's like 2 things that are not in Amarillo, it's in Canyon
I did visit Amarillo
I wonder if Sweet Marie still resides here?...
Want to visit this place so bad!
Me too
as a person living there for their whole life
it sucks here
If it sucks, it's probably you who suck, not Amarillo. No one is forcing you to stay there. Go.@@omegawimptronic6403
no you don’t it’s horrible

Sorry u missed out on the iconic sculpture, “0zymandias” just one block off Hwy. 87 on the south side of Amarillo. Paid for by the same dude who created Cadillac Ranch.
Lol, this is obviously a list scraped up from internet research, most of this stuff is not really fun or what I would ever recommend.
What would you recommend I'll be there next month
Amarillo by morning Amarillo is where I’ll be
no
I want to watch this but that fake BOT voice, uh, I will try to hang in there. I'd rather hear ANY real flawed human voice than bot voice.
