this sink is absolutely lovely, but seems like a hell of a lot of work to maintain 😅

100% agree! If it was up to me I would always go stainless steel. I don’t think my landlord would like me switching 😂

That's not a hell of work lol it's just scrubbing and applying oil later😀 why's that considered so much work?

Do you have one for a “black” stainless steel sink? I just got one and I’m already regretting it 😖😩🤦🏻‍♀️

This guy would do anything to clean up an abandoned house that's not broken but dirty

Can I use the same stuff to clean a white sink?

I also have a composite sink, but mine is white and it seems to get stains. I do the same routine as you except for the mineral oil, but sometimes it shows stains. What do you recommend for that?

I’d say dry it out immediately when wet and maybe use vinegar

Bleach and Milton tablets! Keep it there for 30 minutes then run it off don’t scrub it off!

Did you know that bug spray cleans head lights really well?

Doesn't hot soapy water remove the oil?

Can you show us how to keep the white counter clean? I have the same counter as yours and it stains so easily. It’s become frustrating 😣😖

After you’ve cleaned it make sure to rub it with some cheap cooking oil to keep it shiny and black! You’re welcome 😉

How often do you do this?

Great question! It can depend on how much you use the sink but I usually oil it once a month.

I love mine but it has stains and i have been trying all kinds of things to clean it. Mineral oil makes the flecks shine like glitter. Soo pretty but the stains are ugly!

Please don’t use mineral oil on anything that comes in contact with food, it’s actually harmful with heart/vascular health.

You can also use coconut oil.

im sure the nanograms that would come in contact with you would not have any serious effects, people use mineral oil to rehydrate wood cutting boards to keep them water/mold resistant..
