I remember being sprayed by water when I was a kid and literally freaked out. Had nightmares for about a week haha. Now I look back and say aw it wasn’t that bad
This scared my sister and I to death when we were kids. We both left crying because of the stupid spiders and the movement in the chairs! They should warn you better before going in.
Awww omg I'm so sorry you guys didn't enjoy it 😭im surprised I didn't cry I was scared of everything, but instead I loved it I wanted to go a million times. But I really hope you can go again and enjoy it, it really is an amazing show
lowkey was terrified of seeing the ant hanging out of the roof, scared the absolute shit out of me when I was little. Now going back im like “bro how is this scary”
This show scared me so bad when I was a little kid (I believe i was 5 or 6). I believe I went to Disney World the first time in 2003/2004. The darkness and the spider part is what really got to me. After, I developed the fear of spiders
Crazy we’re about the same age bc I went when I was 6 in 2004 as well and I still sort of remember this, I thought the spiders were cool but those cockroaches were the end of life to me lol. I’m hoping to go back to see it again within the next couple of years.
Some people that go to these kind of Disney attraction need to lighten up. A LOT of people had the time of their lives because these attractions are so thrilling.
going in as a child without any warning as to how it'd be (vibrations, spiders, etc), this attraction really messed me up ngl still love disney, this was just too much for me lol
What I meant to point out is that there are more people who enjoy it vs the one’s that it scared. And a lot of attractions get shut down over a few people getting “scared”
@@jenna6421 because it's a cool show. Also I'd like to clarify with my original comment since it is 4 years old (that's crazy) that the attraction doesn't necessarily get "hate" but more or less most people just don't like it because bugs creep out all ages from kids to adults. Although, part of the fun with this show is the fact that sometimes adults are screaming loud if not louder than the kids because they don't realize what the show is and they have some fear of bugs. I mean you literally get stung in your seat, they have little bumps in your seat that just poke you enough to freak you out if you have no idea it's going to happen.
Disney World: "Hey Disney, what should we do with the rest of our budget?" Disney: "I don't know, make a 3D exhibit!" Disney World: "Let me get on that..."
This is such a cute and wonderful attraction that we will do it every time. Its also a great place to get some AC or out of the rain for a while. LOL. Cool share. Like number 1.
AlphaTraveler1 cute... fun... ha... hahah... HAHAH!! There are little kids crying in the theater and adults legit screaming and you think it is cute! YOU THINK THIS IS A GAME?!?!! THIS IS BUGS WORLD NOW!! Sorry... got carried away, but yeah my point remains 😆
Ok I have never been on this ride before as I don’t live in the US but why did everyone scream when it was dark like before the spiders came and at the end?
I remember this, saw it once.. At like the 7min mark just abouts, they had these things that would flip out the chair and hit your bottom or leg as the imaginary bugs runn under your chairs in a row. Freaked me the F out.
You're thinking of the mice from Honey I Shrunk the Audience. At that timestamp, the closest thing is the wasp sting, which comes from the top of the backrest.
Honestly, I don't see anything that scary. this attraction has, in addition to the 3D movie, some special effects, which can be frightening. But for you to have an idea, I was at this attraction 3 weeks ago with my 3 year old grandson and he loved it...
LMFAOO THE SCREAMS OF THE CHILDREN DURING THE SPIDER SCENE IS SO NOSTALGIC BRO I WAS TERRIFIED OF THIS RIDE
That spider.. oh my god. I-I just couldn’t handle this when I was 6.
Omg same! I think I was maybe 7 or 8 and I remember the part where the bugs came down from the ceiling and I started to freak!
This is what caused most of my nightmares and still does

They legit do warn you they say: it could scare some children
They do warn you before you go in
Omg me too
The spiders scare the crap out of me without fail every single time lol
I see this collectively traumatized all of us as kids
I live here in Florida and I'm a 26 year old man but I screamed like a girl when they stung us in the back 😁🤩😜
This ride traumatized me as a kid but I wish I could go back and enjoy it now 🥺
It’s not at California anymore but you can still experience it in Florida
Scared me as a kid but I wish I could go back and experience it again, was such a cool experience
It’s still at Florida
7:24 THAT SPIDER THO
I was terrified but when I noticed the chameleon in the back I got so smug
He’s a hero! Rango that is the chameleon hero!
OH MY GOD I WASNT THE ONLY ONE SCARED 😭😭
The spiders is what started my
arcanaphobia.
the audience are screaming so much during the hopper part. THEY SCREAMED SO SLOUD DURING THE STING EVEN THO ITS JUST A POKE LOL 7:05

@@crustyboogers sameeee I was 7 when I watched this and Hopper scared the crap out of me
I wish this ride got more love :(
It’s underrated because it had lots of little kids scared to death (but not literally)
Who remembers this when it was “honey I shrunk the kids” and the rats went everywhere
Oh my gosh! This brought back memories.
That was Epcot. My friend Martha went on that in 1995, but I didn't do it when I went in 2006.
Yes I went there in 04 and did it. That was so much fun!

My favorite ride as a kid
When I saw it’s tough to be a bug I knew it was a bugs life
I’m sad this attraction is gone at Disney California Adventure Park!!
imagine if one of those spiders fall into the crowd. probably weigh thousands. splat
I had the feeling Hopper hated humans

Why the attraction gets hate: every show you have little kids crying and adults also screaming. (Also people who are afraid of bugs..)
Then why go in?

As an arachnophobe, I never went to this when they had it in CA and I'm glad I didn't.

It literally just smells like nasty popcorn

Sulfur
The secret is they have sulfur pellets and they shoot compressed air and that’s what gives off the stink bug smell
