The only acceptable noise here is the one the compressor makes. I have never had a fridge this loud an will return it right now. If a fridge needs fans to ensure proper airflow, it is badly designed. Warm air flows up, cold air flows down. This is all that is needed and the engineers should make use of these physical principles! The fans also introduce unnecessary points of failure as perfectly displayed in this video, when things are getting stuck in them.

My LG fridge has been making a knocking sound, that seems to be coming from the ice maker. At first it made like 5 knocking sounds and would stop. Recently it had been making the knocking sound, but then wouldn't stop knocking. (At that point I just hit the off switch, for the freezer ice maker). It seems to be related to the ice maker because, I'd open the freezer door while hearing the sound and see the ice tray thing rotating. (Metal rod or whatever it is). Amazingly it still makes ice so, not really sure what to do.

Why is the sound of Sidelji's motor from the first day of installation, every time after defrosting up to 3 minutes like minute 3:56 of the above video, which is more than the times when it did not defrost and it turned on, the rest of the times when the refrigerator is turned on, it has a normal sound, is this normal? Because someone said that after defrosting, the engine speed increases and the water from the defrosting comes out through the heat of the engine, and this loud sound for 3 minutes at the beginning of the work is because of this.

Holy generic bot responses batman. I just dealt with LG warranty "people". I know the issue. Im fully capable of fixing it, but its 2 months old. Not my problem to fix. After 35 minutes the LG idiot responds with "good news....a rattling evap fan and your freezer heating up to melt everything is normal". He then text a link on how to defrost. Its a bad fan. Its a known issue. Its 2 months old. I lost $350 worth of food. LGs response to a 2 month old fridge is to try to tell me "good news". I cant blame the entry level, dollar a day scripted employee. That's a money saving plot from LG.
