In the Netherlands, no vault is placed, but only earth. In my city they have removed all the old graves, I think for various reasons including deterioration and making space. It is actually big business even after death because you pay for a place for 5, 10 or 20 years and then the surviving relatives can pay again or it will be cleared and a new person can be buried. Even the gravestones are collected and reused. We also usually have a plate on the ground next to a headstone.

So.. why a vault like that.. Seems to me that it would take a tremendously long time before that grave can be reused, wich leads to two things: One, you will over the several hundreds of years simply not have the space for burials. Secondly, as plots gets filled up around a site, other family members will eventually be placed further and further apart.. Here, we only uses biodegradable materials, and only the casket is lowered into the ground. But eventually, the grave is being reused afyer 50+ years unless the family wants to upheld it. My church was buildt in the 1100s, and have a cemetary that has been in works now for nearly a millenium. If everyone had been placed in concrete vaults all that time, the cementary would be seen from space, how large it would have been!
I applaud you and your dedication ….. I hope your presence stays for years to come and you pass down your skills and respect to the next grave digger…… it is my hope that some automated cheap ass version of your job never finds its way to exist …..

I mean I have no idea, but I would wait till I received a cease and desist notification.
The patent Wilbert Funeral Services hold is on the rails themselves, so it's the way the lid is displayed is patented.

So.. why a vault like that..
In the US, Graves don't get reused.
@@maureenproietta2065 that was my point, yes.. :) so, in the next few hundreds or thousands of years, how much land do you have left....
I applaud you and your dedication ….. I hope your presence stays for years to come and you pass down your skills and respect to the next grave digger…… it is my hope that some automated cheap ass version of your job never finds its way to exist …..
When my grandparents was fully brutal
Most of the time ....sealing the vault in front of the family or not is usualy a heritage tradition....different countries and religions have different traditions.....
Another name for your "pistols".....placers....and placer rods.....according to FRIDGED FLUID....
Why does it look like he got four coughens on the back of his truck after he said to vote
Very Interesting, it's hard to hear you speak with the music in the background. Turned down would be nice. Thanks for the videos, I just hopped on board,
Is a vault like this typical American?
When i was 15 i had to carry my grandfather and Tripped and put a big dent in the corner and chipped the paint I've never forgot it and haven't forgiven myself for It Happening 53 now and remember it like it was yesterday
Useless.... water still gets into the body after heavy rains.
It does keep the casket from collapsing which would then make the ground above the casket sink in.
@@lindamitchell-fox1926 Yes, but not the point. The body is not protected from water getting into the casket. I'm amazed no one has made a water tight casket or vault.
