"Out under out over over under under out *clap* Her-Cu-Leeez!!" Ten years later and I still can't shake this choreography. Ed and Scott would be proud. :P ~former DCL rehearsal p.a.

While I see your point, some people can't afford to cast like that. They may not have had enough black women with good voices audition. They do a wonderful job, anyways.
hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion, no reason to call people names. And I sorta agree with them. Not saying that white people cant sing RnB, but women of color usually have a certain soul to them.
Isn't that comment a little racist. Your saying that because they are not black they can't have soul in their singing? Even if they could cast all black, I am sure there are some people (of any creed) who are able to sing with the soul you expect it. There are plenty of white girls down south who can sing Gospel with the best of them. Part of the reason they sound the way they even do is with years and years of training. And they all sound amazing. If they didn't they wouldn't be cast.
did you guys get performance rights before performing Hercules. Our school is planning to do this play but we arent allowed until we get the performance rights (the school is scared of getting sued!) PLEASE HELP, QUITE DESPERATE !!!
Okay, I keep reading these comments about how white girls can't sing soul. COMPLETELY INCORRECT. I'm a white girl and I can sing soul as well as any black girl singer could. I know. I was in a production of the Wiz and I was casted as Evillene. As well as every role following had something to do with a Gospel song... Anyway, point is, those comments are kind of stereotypical and somewhat insulting, so could you cut it out?
i agree! but if its said that black people cant sing say ballads as good its suddenly "SO OFFENSIVE!" its just as bad racism! so i totally agree with you!
Why would you possibly be offended when there have been so many times that white women have been casted over black women? If you can sing, then there's nothing for you to be threatened by.
Really wish the Muses were cast as 5 Black women as they are in the animated film. You can tell the difference in the quality of the song. Its a great number, but its lacking the soul the soundtrack gives. The only two Black women (in the entire production, I'm sure) can't carry that by themselves. That soul is what makes the animated film so rich, triumphant, and layered.
This NEEDS a broadway show.
It is!
THIS IS SO COOL OMG.
i would have cried if I saw this live as a kid omg. this is so awesome.
I would've cried if I saw this right now and I'm an 18 year old male haha

"Out under out over over under under out *clap* Her-Cu-Leeez!!" Ten years later and I still can't shake this choreography. Ed and Scott would be proud. :P ~former DCL rehearsal p.a.
I just love how Pain and Panic join in the dance. And the imperial march for Hades was a nice touch.

Do you have a full video of this show available anywhere?? I love the videos you've posted so far! :) Sad that it's leaving next year.
do you have "i wont say i'm in love?" please upload if u do !!!!!
I wish i could explain to you what this video means for me. Instead, i just say Thank You. :)
The original song was better, but man, I gotta give them props for a good PERFORMANCE. I was entertained.
Why not? It's supposed to be a Vaudeville-style show. Which also explains why Hercules does an Elvis impression. And why Pain and Panic are now girls.
Would you be able to post the rest of the show, pretty please?
@CameraLady911 Post "i wont say i'm in love" Pleeeeeease =3?
oh my god!
Zero to Hero
@CameraLady911 .... maybe

Holy shit this is better than Dream Girls!
Hey, Toy Story is great! A little corny at the end, but it's got potential!
not to bad few times it was iffy because of the mess going on but really good other wise
Are they the actual singers in the movie?
@jongjong1989 Haha. Really?
did herk just say 'im conceited'
why is hercules ...errr.... elvis???
This is my actual age-

InvaderChaoticCandy I know, right?
was it a white production of the wiz? Cause the wiz isn't for white people to be in tbh
Homunculus Hope I see your point and thank you for acknowledging what you said before
Why would you possibly be offended when there have been so many times that white women have been casted over black women? If you can sing, then there's nothing for you to be threatened by.
Wha
Think about it boo boo if everyone could sing like LeChanze and Lillias then they wouldn't be special.
Why is one muse white?
why not
No....no he shouldn't
Rg
i'd expect a lot more applause - kind of disapointing!

Im not impressed with Hercules' elvis complex. It's not fitting. Chuck that quality, develop this musical into broadway quality, and it's fantastic.
Go back to church girls...you lost something. Lillias has so much attitude when she sings this...where's your anger, emotion? You sound too trained!
