Victor "Sit n Watch" Wembanyama.
His trainers are so smart for teaching him how to juggle. 7 footers are almost never this coordinated and it massively hurts their game. Wemby moves like a 6'5" guard and despite his length, he always knows where he is in relation to the play and how to impact things. There's no comparison between him and guys and like Bol Bol
He also does the splits and juggles very well a football. He probably does reaction time drills based on solving maths problems, perception of speed exercices, and depth of skills mind maps. As a former hockey goalie, a lot of his skills and the way he moves in a systematic manner near the basket in defense (where you can see the arc under the basket like in hockey) makes me think he worked in a cross training way in a theoritical way with other sports for his movement. It is also a very French approach to skill dev that is rooted in hebertism, a french method of 'natural' training opposed to weightlifting.

Yep. He was a top 10 player in the league in the back half of the season, AND it was all on restricted minutes. He's going to murder the league next year with Castle being able to keep up and CP3 as a locker room presence with the capability of throwing lobs and contributing even at 39. If they can get Sochan to a better place by moving him off point duties, then he can attack and play a more hybrid PF role.
The league is in trouble. It would be awesome to see CP3 mentor the young guys and end up with his first chip next year at 40 after all the talk of him being one of the best never to win it all, but I'm not counting on it since I think the adjustments that are being made will take a little too long for the in-season record they'd need.
Wemby is putting on good weight and is dominating right now for France, so maybe I'll be proven wrong and we'll see him win MVP, DPOY and a chip earlier than later. He has no ceiling.
His catch&shoot was poor because his teammates didn't know how to hand the ball to a 7.4 guy. Let's watch CP3 giving him the ball and I promise he'll have at least 35% in c&s.

You shouldve mentioned that those stats were in only 29mpg. What's his averages gonna be when he gets star minutes which is 34-38mpg? I can see him averaging 28-30ppg, 15-18rpg, 5bpg, 5apg, 1-2spg. Thats crazy!
This year his per 36 was like 27 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 steals, its like prime shaq or duncan but better
With CP3's lobs, Castle's help on D, a better spacing team and his own level increase (on shoot % and TOs), he could even do better than this... which is 🤯
